TEAMS is THE WORST!
You forced the replacement of Skype for Business without having the same (even minimal) functionality available in Teams.
1.) There is no pop-out chat window for participating in multiple conversations at once.
2.) No easy way to see missed chats (flashing icon isn’t in real time or noticeable); No Outlook notifications of missed chat summary.
3.) No Chat summary auto-cataloged in Outlook Conversations
4.) Lack of searching of previous Conversations
5.) Lack of deletion of some Conversation parts
6.) Automatic minimalization of Team Meeting screen share when trying to access files or other content in Teams.
7.) Lack of tight integration with Outlook Calendar and Teams Status. (Busy/Away/etc) The availability of a person in Teams does not always reflect accurately.
8.) No way to keep a resizable screen up for quick and easy visual as to who on the Team is Available for a chat. The Chat box is large and can’t be effectively resized.
Overall our team members are very frustrated with Teams! It feels like we are being forced to endure a Beta testing situation with Teams roll-out.
The lack of these basic but heavily relied upon functionalities in Teams has slowed our internal productivity and collaboration!
Fix it or allow users to continue using Skype for Business until the app is ready for prime-time, daily business use.
I have to use this for a job interview next week and want to set up on a free basis so I can practice beforehand - but there is no option for me to do this and I certainly don't want to pay for it, for during the brief chance I got to test it it looked like rubbish TBH - not a patch on zoom, especially when it comes to the setting up the camera. Disgraceful that there is no free option for unemployed people, presumably the genuises who set this up didn't foresee the job interviw dilemma!
MS TEAMS MADE MY LIFE RUINED BY NOT SHOWNG SOME MESSAGES TO MY OTHER FRIENDS, I CANT BELIVE YOU DID THIS MS TEAMS.
Just tried to install and set up the "MS Teams" for my daughter's educational purposes ... related to some government program. The application is an absolute ****. Nothing is working, it is repeating the message "We're sorry—we've run into an issue." and asking me to login repeatedly. And asking me to open (register) on different Microsoft sites (Teams, Office365 etc.). I lost about 2 hours trying many things, but nothing works.
MS Teams is not even a half product. Obviously it has not been tested at all, at least not properly. It works Like a car with broken battery ... barely starts and then dies suddenly, in a minute or two.
Believe me Microsoft, in general, has no future this way. Linux should definitely take over ... as soon as possible. On Linux almost everything is free and everything works much smoother than any Microsoft application, at least lately.
It seems like Microsoft is having a lot of millennial like programmers. This kids have no feel of any kind of responsibility at all.
Overall I am lucky to have Linux installed on every machine but this one. I hate Microsoft since Windows 8.1 appeared. I ditched Windows on time ... so useless and annoying OS ... absolutely unproductive. The same goes for MS Visual studio, and many other MS tools, which are getting slower and slower by new every update they make.

I have used Teams every day for the better part of 3 years. Initially, it wasn't great, but I believed it had potential. MS really hit their mark from about year 2 to year 3. Quality updates with new, useful features, improved functionality, etc. My team did not make the switch for quite some time, but I finally converted them and a number of our clients to Teams.
What a mistake that has turned out to be.
The last year has been awful. Every single update, there's some drastic change. Something gets unnecessarily moved, some useful feature gets removed only to be replaced by some completely useless feature that I am not convinced anyone on Earth even asked for. The same problems have persisted for years now without a fix. It seemed at one time that the vision for Teams was an all-inclusive one-stop-shop app which folded together Outlook and Teams or that there would at least be some basic functionality there. It seemed obvious. Still does. But, after nearly 4 years, users still have to switch back and forth between the apps and suffer through the question mark that is notifications- Will I get it this time? Will it be correct? Will I receive my reminder 45 minutes after my meeting has already started? I mean, come on. Get it together. It's borderline pathetic at this point.
Additionally, what are the problems you apparently cannot solve regarding the mobile app and the desktop app? It is honestly the absolute worst experience with technology that I've ever had. Transferring a call is the worst game I've ever played in my life. And having to work with multiple windows, both of which are an illogical mess from a usability standpoint... It is an absolute nightmare and a failure of epic proportions on your part. Who is making these design changes? Steve Ballmer and Helen Keller?
Worst software I’ve ever used.
Teams is that bad, that they are not even accurate to send a reminder of a meeting. Close to the end of a meeting I was attending, they sent me a reminder indicating the "beginning" of the meeting and confirm if I would attend.
Don't they have a proper testing.. only kept adding features. So many bugs.. I never want to work with any of the microsoft product. all literly sucks!!!!
Come on, people travel to the moon. This app sucks big time.

Teams is super glitchy and doesn't send an invite half of the time.

Coming from the bliss of Lync (Skype for Business) to the nightmare of Teams has been a very shocking experience. First of all, Lync is lightweight while Teams is a monstrously heavy Electron (i.e. web based) application. The user interface is unintuitive, messy and badly integrated with Windows. Audio is much less stable than Lync.

I am forced too to use it in my company... after 2 years of using it, it is still very annoying to use basic features. One feature I miss: if someone writes something in a channel, I will get only a notification if I am online too. But if someone writes something while I am asleep, I have to look into that channel if someone has posted something. We have many of these channels.
I searched for the possibility to use some kind of webhooks so I can write my own notification script. Unfortunately it doesn't work. There is only a way to send webhooks if you use @mentions -> but no way to post everything to some website... maybe it is possibole but probably not easy one like these hooks.
Teams API is also horrible. Nothing like Discord. I wish Teams would be more like Discord, which is not really comparable to teams...
The worst app of all, it's **** to be forced to use this in the company.
From the perspective of a teacher being forced to use Teams:
1. It allows students to upload assignments after the deadline has expired. What's the point of having a deadline???
2. There are too many places where students can contact us - one has to check “activity,” “chat,” “teams,” and “assignments.” This makes it very difficult to keep track of conversations.
3. When you search for a student, it does not show you any of the files that student may have sent.
4. Files are uploaded and saved only with the file name – there is nothing to indicate who sent it or when. Can you imagine how many files called "essay" I receive?
Microsoft - you've managed to make what was already a terrible year even worse.
I use it because I have too but most of my colleagues go around it
The most stupid annoying thing I have to work with

It is god awful - in saves documents from my own private MicroCrap Word onto the MicroCrap OneDrive which is a joke. Why cant they go away? I have to navigate their app to "channels" because MicroCrap thought it would use different words to describe "Chat". If there was one company on this planet I would like to see fail is MicroCrap.

Aaah this sucks what is this teams it makes me tardy for class cause it takes 5 hours to even join a meeting aaaaaaaaaa
Extremely confusing and totally non intuitive. What is the point of allowing files to be uploaded when it only works properly in SharePoint? Using Teams I got the folder structure recreated but a lot of files within folders (mostly images) were totally missing! Do the same in SharePoint and it now looks ok. What a pile of Sh**e :-(
Who cares, you have email to find me commented
Now it is a year on (and it is a year when a huge number of users went on working from home, the rubbish has still not been cleaned. Actually, the pile has got bigger.
Anyone out there except corporate types that use Zoom to chat among themselves has actually seen any improvement on this utter shame?
MS killed Skype to force this monstrosity on public.
My only guess is the corporation has a 5 year plan on something we will all regret.
