TEAMS is THE WORST!
You forced the replacement of Skype for Business without having the same (even minimal) functionality available in Teams.
1.) There is no pop-out chat window for participating in multiple conversations at once.
2.) No easy way to see missed chats (flashing icon isn’t in real time or noticeable); No Outlook notifications of missed chat summary.
3.) No Chat summary auto-cataloged in Outlook Conversations
4.) Lack of searching of previous Conversations
5.) Lack of deletion of some Conversation parts
6.) Automatic minimalization of Team Meeting screen share when trying to access files or other content in Teams.
7.) Lack of tight integration with Outlook Calendar and Teams Status. (Busy/Away/etc) The availability of a person in Teams does not always reflect accurately.
8.) No way to keep a resizable screen up for quick and easy visual as to who on the Team is Available for a chat. The Chat box is large and can’t be effectively resized.
Overall our team members are very frustrated with Teams! It feels like we are being forced to endure a Beta testing situation with Teams roll-out.
The lack of these basic but heavily relied upon functionalities in Teams has slowed our internal productivity and collaboration!
Fix it or allow users to continue using Skype for Business until the app is ready for prime-time, daily business use.
I'm using it on Mac BigSur 11.4 and the app simply doesn't boot up... giant piece of ****. It will work in the browser, but why have the app then? And on the Iphone 12 neither the app will work, nor is it supported on Safari. I'm recommending cancelling the subscription if this can't get fixed for the Apple users.
Horrible, I can't even turn my video on! the complicated onboarding process, very bad! I probably bombed my interview because of MS Teams!!

Not just this, Microsoft Teams is the buggiest software ever produced by any company and released to users. Every week they release new bugs only, hardly new useful changes but rather added bugs. Worst ever experience of a software to be used.
my school is using Microsoft teams, and it simply does not work..worst software ever,
Does anyone know how to get the status of the user to appear when you are searching for a contact? IE... I am needing to actually click on the contact name before it shows the status/availability. I want to see the status when searching, I don't want to click the contact before I can see this.
Can't share a file with my customer...2hrs. on with IT and they are not sure what the problem is. Maybe whitelist the customer.....lots of suggestions on what to do...See here's the thing. I do not want to become a Microsoft Teams programmer so I can do my **** job. Make this garbage work for us please.
I have had to use several video meeting services over the past year-plus due to the coronavirus shutting down school and work, and Microsoft Teams is by far the slowest, buggiest, and hardest to log into of all of them. I vastly prefer Zoom or, heaven forbid, Google Meet (even despite my general hatred of all things associated with Google Products). Teams is ugly, hard to use, and uses up a lot of resources on my computer, even more than any of the others.
Here's my honest feedback:
Microsoft teams has been very glitchy and buggy forget all the features you could possibly add to make it better. Like deletion of chats and pop out windows. Just make it so the entire app stops having to be restarted every other minute it's ridiculous. And frustrating. And the simplest thing to fix.
I want to switch in between conversations or topics and can't even do that without the app completely freezing. Also sometimes I can't even hit the "x" button or minimize the screen. I have to manually do so through task manager.
Can't tell you how many time I see the we couldn't refresh your feed screen. Or we needed to restart...
Please update, fix the bugs, or glitches it would really help out online working people alot.
edit: also my specs are pretty tight my pc isn't even a year old and everything else works perfectly fine. Just to put that out there
microsoft teams just literally kill my computer when i go to chrome my mouse is stuck when i go to other applications its stuck too it is so annoying but i am forced to join it because my school chose microsoft teams for online classes

Teams Interface - is the most unfriendly user interface. The navigation, user journeys, placement of buttons etc etc.. the Teams UI was made particularly to HATE teams..
Just because it is part of 0365, we are using it or forced to use it.. If it was paid, I would have used anything else but Teams.. only for its UI being so bad.
i have used teams for around a year and a half, and I have to say, I want to use discord for online classes because it is so buggy and trashy my computer explorer crashed 3 times in a row! and my specs are high! intel xeon 7th gen, nvidia RTX 2080ti, 32gb of ram, and still crashes! it broke my 1080ti because it crashed the graphics card! YOU OWE ME 280 DOLLERS MS! MS TEAMS IS GARBAGE AND IT IS FINAL! it also broke my only i7 processor :(

1. Team sign in using authenticator app is just over the top for many users and invited guests. Setting up the authentication puts people off. Why make it so difficult for users and guests?
2. Private channels cannot schedule meetings. WTF??
I work at a university using Teams and college using GSuite for education.
Teams has some interesting features but for the most part it's a buggy mess. Some students don't receive assignments, some students receive the assignments but can't see the attachments... last semester I spent an extra two hours each day just re-assigning assignments to students who couldn't open them.
OneNote has an interesting distribution system but no markup/editing for grading. Word has editing but the distribution is more difficult. Word has too many options for opening files and some basic functionality is just missing from the "edit in browser" function. Copying and pasting document content between Word and OneNote results in some really crazy formatting issues because OneNote doesn't seem to follow any of the conventions of word processing established in the past 30 years.
There is no real "home" page for static content and messages except for the channel, which fills up with chat and makes it hard to find things.
Unlike everywhere else in Teams, the files section cannot access files from OneDrive, the one place where it would be most useful for storing static content.
I teach the same classes every year, but when I duplicate a class, only the basic structure is duplicated, and none of the content. So it's like starting from scratch every semester.
And finally, it's impossible to have more than one document open at a time. That means that students and teachers cannot access a reference document without downloading it and viewing it in another application. When doing group projects, I cannot monitor my students' writing activity. It's sometimes possible to open a second document in a browser tab, but if it's a word file, something seems to break in the background and changes sometimes get lost or the web app crashes and sends us back to the entry page.
Finally, my university has given me 2 accounts, and I have my own private MS account. Trying to switch accounts sometimes sends me into an endless login loop between the browser, the web app, and some Microsoft service page that I didn't even want to open.
I don't even bother with the video conferencing functionality after sitting through our introductory training conference, in which the presenter was a big blocky mosaic and the audio sounded like he was underwater. I use Zoom.
This is a product that tries to do too much by bundling a bunch of incompatible apps together, tied around a one-window/one-document interface concept that was obsolete when Windows was first released!
Google Classroom may be more limited in some ways, but it works well, the interface is easy to understand, and it was designed with teachers and students in mind.
I am so, so, so frustrated with this bloated mess. I don't get paid for dealing with this!
I absolutely concur. So happy to find someone honest. This is a terrible software product. Almost impossible to use and not user friendly. This product gives legitimacy to the theory that software developers are genius engineers but have no common sense and no ability to make a software package simple to use.
Same. In class when the teacher talks... lol freezes and cuts out. Luckily, there is an option to switch to an in-person school. Or else, EVERYONE WOULD PERISH FROM ETERNAL SUFFERING.
Teams is absolute garbage, trying to navigate from chat to chat takes forever, drag and drop sucks, can't even copy a picture when it's clicked, only download??? Really, copy/paste pictures from Teams out is NOT supported or implemented? WTF? Memory and CPU usage unbelievably high. Constant freezing and lag. I have I7 8th gen, Nvidia GTX video card, 16 GB ram, NVME 2.0 HDD. So I have lots of processing power. How can you create such a piece of ****. We still use Telegram because there things happen in less than 5 seconds, same things in Teams happens in 30+seconds. Get your **** together and fix this garbage app.

First try of Microsoft Teams on OSX Mojave. Very ugly piece of software, it looks like it has been made more than a decade ago. Buggy in the web browser (does not show anything). Buggy in the app when it comes to log in (asked me for my phone number and password in loop, and why does it even need that information in the first place?!). Buggy when starting, even if the app has (kind of) logged in succcessfully after some failed attempts. All these random behaviours are less than inviting and made me miss half my meeting. I will never use again.
