Actual Participant list instead of invited list
There must be a way to capture Teams' meetings' actual attendance list. Currently all the invited participants reflect as 'joined teams meeting' when it isn't actually so.
This would be very useful when we conduct online training sessions for participants across geographical locations.
I imagined that this feature was native, for my surprise it is not!
As stated below, a list of participants would be useful to measure the participation of the guests in the meetings, we are all waiting for Microsoft to make this ASAP option available.
All videoconferencing platforms have this feature.

This is needed to verify attendee. It can cause major misunderstandings.
This is a glitch that can cause misunderstandings. My manager declined a meeting with lawyers and yet it showed he had joined the meeting. I had to text him to check whether or not he had joined. This needs to be fixed asap. It has the potential for recording incorrect information of those who actually participated in the meeting.
Hi this is a really important feature of conferencing- I how large conferences, and i am always being asked- can you provide my with a list of people who actually attended and who didnt attend?

Indeed, would be very helpful if we know who actually joined a meeting as we need to register this for educational points. Grateful if this feature can be implemented asap.

Is there any update on this? We run meetings with a large number of participants and currently unable to track / download the actual number participants who have attended.
Currently the chat / post tab shows everyone who's been invited as 'joined the meeting' which is incorrect.
Feature still needed - particularly when using the mobile client you cannot see the people actually on the call...
It appears many Teams users are requesting this functionality. Can Microsoft post an update on status of this feature?

yes this would really help.. I manage a large user base who is using teams and there is a lot of feedback coming for this feature.. Please let us know if there a easier workaround for this.
