Cross Channel Posts: Replies Appear in All Threads
The new cross-channel posts are great! However, it would be even better if replies in one thread copied over to the thread in the other channel(s). This way, the conversation remains fluid and everyone always has the same information.
I agree we need this feature esle the conversation becomes stunted. At least give the options for having all replies to an announcement of that announcement
This could be implemented as an option but probably not as the default.
You may want to have an announcement/idea/general directions shared with multiple groups but keep the discussion in each channel/team separate so members of each channel/team would have a private discussion or split the work as described in the initial post and discuss details only about their part of the work etc.
I like this to be implemented
cross-channel perhaps, but what about when posting to multiple teams? Obviously it would not be possible for replies on one team to show up within another, because the membership would be different.
How could cross post be implemented without the replies cross posting as well. Basic common sense.

One would think this feature is considered self explanatory. Please implement it, I'm stuck with copy/pasting my replies over all cross channel posts.

Best idea ever.
Seems like a solid idea!

Tracking cross post replies is a nightmare, this feature is definitely something that should be implemented within Teams.

Agreed, replies should cross post to the different channels involved

I would like this to have an indicator of some sort (green @?) that non-members are participants in the thread. Bonus if you can easily see which channel was looped in (mouse over?)
I submitted a larger suggestion that would encompass this as well:
Really love the idea of cross-posting, but I won't use it much because of this very limitation.
Being able to link cross-channel posts should definitely be added, and it should be something a user can switch on/off when posting. In some cases, history should certainly be linked to make EVERYONE'S lives easier. In other cases, having that synced history could be frustrating (if, say, you were posting to multiple geolocations).
I would agree that if a message is posted across multiple channels then replies, by default, should be also or, at the very least, an option to do so.
