Additional Streaming Layouts for Team Live Events
currently you can choose between two streaming layouts (e.g. full screen or screen beside cam).
There would be so many cool other layout options to improve live events e.g.:
- Two speaker side by side (split screen)
- presentation on the left but two speaker on the right
- 4 speaker on screen
- large cam, small screen sharing content
Whatever the ideas are endless, but currently this is really limiting some streaming experience, for example if you have two speakers debating something I want to show both, but I can't.
Totally agreed! We really need more presenters on screen and the ability to see the presenter's name.

Agreed, we really need the option of having more speakers on screen simultaneously.
now we have to use other encoders to have other lay-outs. But then you cant stream outside the organisation.
So, please YES!
Would be great to see MS acknowledge this as the delivery format for webinars/broadcasting seems a fundamental requirement. Please more than one speaker at a time, switching back and forth is just a really bad UX.

It seems like regular meetings are getting new functionality these days, but hoping you will consider to give some love and new stuff to Live Events as well!

We would really like the ability to run interview style broadcasts and events, but having more than one person on the screen isn't possible unless they are in the same place - which clearly is quite limiting.
I absolutely think this is necessary!
I absolutely second the option of having several speakers on screen simultaneously!
Agree 100%, we would really like to produce two speakers side by side
Hi Ian, External App is not available Public Events.

Multiple Presenters on Screen, branded backgrounds...and more. These are all possible by making use of the External App feature to broadcast into Teams Live using RTMP ingest. See my LinkedIn post for some more info and happy to advise.

Ótimo, sugiro telas múltiplas para quem estiver assistindo pelo link possa ver dois ou mais apresentadores simultaneamente.
100% agree with all the requests of this forum! To expand possibilities on the Producer layer of the Teams Live Events would be awesome; personalized backgrounds, more speakers/content layouts....etc.
definitly needed also at least a addiitonal content in the queu would be so great..
Now that Microsoft goed for 49 cameras in Teams... It is time to add more features to LiveEvents.
Multi cameras/contents with customizable layouts, scenes/queues.
Queuing printer contents in production interface would be of an incredible value :-)
Any update on this? Current WFH makes this so necessary!
I think this would be great. Adding a video feed of the presenter along with their Powerpoint makes the feed much more personal to the attendees.
Up to four of the speakers on screen would be good for Q and A sessions.
Live Events are going to key in training post/peri COVID but we need to keep them human as that enhances learning and engagement of attendees.
Is it possible to add the presenter names on the live teams broadcast?

Having multiple speakers at once is essential to usability for us - we often have more than one speaker for a presentation and we try and keep Q&A sessions informal where different speakers contribute. I don't think we can use the tool until this functionality is added. Hopefully it will be so we don't have to look outside of Office 365 for our remote event functionality.
Agreed. We have a need to have an interpreter as a second feed that is larger than the current video feed while also presenting content.
