retention teams video
Currently Video contents and Teams recorded meetings are stored in Stream. But, Stream contents are not yet included in retention policy. It is really important to include this for security and compliance reasons. Can this please included in the next Security & Compliance roadmap? Thank you.

This is a basic component of storing any data so is needed so as to not have a bunch of old videos stored needlessly.

This is a critical need for our organization (a large healthcare system). Our top executive leadership has asked my team to implement a 30-day retention policy for all Teams meeting recordings on 08/01 and I have no idea how we are going to accomplish that.
It appears that the only way to delete meeting recordings is to do so manually, one-by-one, in the Stream admin view. That is not feasible when we probably have more than 20,000 recordings in our tenant, especially since it looks like recordings can only be sorted by newest at the top in the admin view.
Also, we don't know exactly how many recordings we have because the export from the Stream admin view only goes back 90 days (we have 8,000+ recordings during that range) and we have been using Teams for more than two years.

Recordings in Teams that are subsequently then stored in Streams must be subject to a retention policy and included in Security and Compliance
