Teams for Xbox (for office use)
We use Teams everywhere - PCs, mobile, Yealink phones, etc. We have an Xbox in our meeting room - since the Xbox is a powerhouse and can accomodate a big screen monitor, HD web cam, speakers, mics, etc., how about Teams on the Xbox? It would save us from spending another $5K on a Teams meeting room device... and how cool would it be?

Completely shocked why Teams have not replaced Skype app on Xbox One??? Support for Kinect is a must, otherwise are we supposed to go back to using Skype?

Hello MS, please have a look on this.
Since Teams is also available for normal Microsoft Accounts (maybe 1. big step to retire Skype [not the Buisness one, this is already dead]). So please build a app

Microsoft Edge on the XBOX no longer supports joining Team meetings. This seems to have taken effect since 9th February 2021 according to the many social media comments about it. Using Teams via XBOX has saved thousands of families a lot of anxiety where no other devices are avaiableto remotelearn from home.
It would be appreciated, if Microsoft continue to update services to meet current technology requirements, they do the same with their client devices. If it resolves the problem, can the XBOX ONE be updated with the Edge Chromium browser?

This needs adding ASAP. I run a small charity and we have many youth trustees on board that all have xboxes that can be used to continued the work of the charity. This will enable trustees to work collaboratively and support the community through lockdowns etc.
It must be real!!! Kids all over the word need to acess Teams and most of them have a Xbox!!!! You are so late!!!!

This is definitely needed. My child's school has been using a private YouTube channel for all the pre recorded lessons which is perfect as there is an Xbox connected to the TV. They are wanting to move away from YouTube to Teams which would mean using a different device to obtain the lessons from. Teams on Xbox would be far more convenient for everyday use. Considering both are Microsoft properties I can't imagine this would be a stretch.
In covid times, schools are using Teams to teach kids. Not every kid has a laptop, but a lot have games consoles. Even if it was just available on Xbox, it would benefit a lot of children.
How does this still not exist? It's been about a year since huge amounts of people have been working from home and having virtual meetings, lessons etc to reduce contact yet still no app developed for XBox.
Using the web browser doesn't give as much functionality from the feedback by partners students who are trying to do lessons via it have fed back.
Many people don't have a laptop, desktop, tablet etc and may have an old smartphone but a surprising amount have an Xbox kicking around they can get online with much better quality

Please add teams to xbox since skype is gone.
I confess I am shocked this hasn't already happened with the number of lockdown family get togethers, schools ribbing online classes, and more people working from home.

it would be great for education where some homes may have an xbox but not a PC or tablet
This would be amazing, especially for those of us who have a kinect camera that isn't getting any use
I use teams for all of my classes at college, I'm aware of fellow students who have kids who have to stop home schooling in order to attend our classes, as they only have one device. Enabling xbox to be used as a second device help a lot of people struggling with issues like this.
You made it possible to have MS Teams on Linux, I would be more than happy to have it also on Xbox One S (which I have pleasure to use). I know it's possible to use Skype on it and it's working nicely using Kinect (I'm using Kinect for Xbox One with small hack) and I'm big fan of it, it has impressive quality. I also own MS Camera HD-3000 which I would like to test if you release MS Teams for Xbox One (S). Please let me know, my team and I are waiting for you :)
