Setting to adjust length of time before "away" status
I would like the option to select how long I want to be inactive before Teams auto changes from "available" to "away". In my organization, some computers can go unlocked but inactive all night and Teams will show them as "available". While on mine, I might be in excel or another program but on my computer, and Team will show me as "away" after just minutes.

Very annoying when working from home and my teammates do not know I am available because the timer set my status to away.

This would be extremely helpful. Sometimes I'm not constantly at my desk, but I need to make sure I'm hearing my calls.

This feature is absolutely needed. We have a few Agents who will perform tasks at their desks, but not on their computer. After a few minutes, their Teams status changes to "Away". Using presence based calling has caused issues. We would like to change this from just a few minutes, to at least 15 or 20 minutes.
Please add this feature.

Please add this feature, like everyone is saying we loved it in Skype and we need it in Teams for all of the reasons listed by the other comments!

Even if I am reading something it changes the status to away, this has to be changed.

This is a set back in the wrong direction. I’m required to review a lot of data. With people working from home it creates a FALSE negative that people aren’t working or being productive. Looking at data, being in on an active conference call or virtual training should not mark my status as “away” especially when my organization is transitioning and still using Skype and my status reads something totally different there and I’m able to adjust my times. This should be based on “true” activity and not the action of swiveling my mouse around.

Definitely need a way to set length of time before away status displays. interruptions during workday cause Teams to report away even if I'm still at my desk working. Just because i haven't moved my mouse doesn't mean I'm not working. I may be figuring something out or reading a lengthy article or something. It's dumb not to have a setting to adjust this time length.
