remove urgent notification feature
The new "Urgent" delivery option is a horrible feature, and is only good for annoying the recipient. Please remove it or give us the ability to turn it off. Or at least give the recipient a way to ignore it or mark it not urgent. Similar to outlook emails, just because the sender marked an email as "high priority" doesn't mean it's high priority for the recipient, and they can edit the email properties to remove the priority flag.

Just because you don't use this doesn't mean teams in other organizations don't use this!
Local policies should determine the circumstances for its use. (As an analogy, I have the phone number of our company's CEO. That doesn't mean I'm at liberty to call her directly about some issue that's important to me --- but the company would be foolish not to allow us to reach out for something SHE would find urgent!)
I agree the feature would be MORE USEFUL if it rang an alarm in the recipient's Teams app, especially the mobile app.
Also, it's amusing that an IM sends an email when a message is "urgent". The typical order of immediacy is typically the reverse--people tend to check "Instant" messengers more frequently than email. But still, in most cases if it's truly urgent to get ahold of someone immediately, a lot of people would probably use a text or phone call, which is less annoying for the recipient.
