Allow owners to force automatic channel notifications for a particular Teams channel.
Allow owners to force automatic channel notifications for all participants added to a particular Teams channel rather than relying on all the participants to manually enable them.

I agree with this. For example, I have a current project team set up that is to be used as a forum for all to post queries and updates etc to the rest of the team. This would be an extremely useful feature if people checked it, however most people do not. If people received a notification each time something new happened, people would check it and it would be a very useful feature. As it stands it is a ghost town because noone knows when something has changed, and as such it's not all that useful. People automatically tend toward an email loop for project updates instead as everyone is actively notified that way.
I'd like to see controls available to the admin of the team channel that allows for "Force notifications: For new conversations only, For all new updates (conversations & replies), Do not send updates (the option to still have the current functionality).
To make things fair, the user should still have the discretion to turn off receiving updates from specific channels should they so desire.
This is absolutely essential given that it's not immediately obvious to users how to get notifications. There is really no point to MS Teams if people don't know that there is something new posted to a channel that they need to know.
Right now, we literally have to email Team members to let them know about a new post.
This feature would be very handy to have available to Team Owners.
