Increase maximum number of members in an Org Wide Team
In a global organisation, there may be more than 5000 people in that organisation.
Increase the maximum number of members who can be part of an org wide team to accommodate large organisations.
Why is this a limitation? How does MS do it? How do other LARGE orgs handle this if they have a massive user base and want to use MS TEams as their Intranet?

This is a killer when we trying to roll out for our corp.
We have more than 5k and around 10k employee and for this, we ended up not using org wide as a channel for corp news/comms

Very surprised at this limitation. How are large organizations supposed to support even Teams itself from within the product if an entire org can't be contained in a team?

I'm amazed that there aren't more votes for this. My client wants to encourage adoption and provide a platform for peer learning about Teams in an organization-wide team. But with 4,600 employees and growing, they'll soon be stymied by the max. limit on number of members.

we've facing a huge increase on ms teams deployment globally and in Canada as a MSFT partner were on the front line being asked about those org wide limit to accommodate large organizations. we have clients with more than 15k user, 20k , 25k users and the 1st question we have every deployment it's around the numbers of members in a team and Number of members in an org-wide team (limited to 5000) https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/limits-specifications-teams
This is needed for my organisation as well, can we get traction on this request.
