Ability to group chats into folders
There may be multiple meetings and chats that have occurred that follow the same theme.
If I could put those chats into one chat Folder or group-- like Section Groups in OneNote-- then I could find all the information I am looking for in one place.
This would be a huge advantage to have the ability to organize and group similar chats. There are way too many active pinned and recent chats to effective manage and find what I need.

While I have a great many grievances with MS Lync, the one thing it had going for it was grouping—and allowing for the same contact to be in multiple groups which, while it might sound odd, did actually come in useful for me in certain contexts. I think this would be a valuable addition to the user experience of MS Teams.

I'm a Project Manager and would love to be able to organize the chats by Project / Organization / Business Unit, etc. Giving the user to organize however works best for their role would be ideal.
I'd love to group chats. For example, students or students in a particular class, or work colleagues, or teaching colleagues. but, for me, mostly students

Definitely a useful feature considering the growing number of chats and group chats. Grouping similar themed chats based on organization or department will help reduce sifting through hundreds of chats to look for THE ONE.
Slack & Telegram have also just launched theirs here:
This would be great - some ability to manage the huge number of chats.
