Add Attachments to Team Meeting Invitations
The ability to include attachments when scheduling meetings within the Teams app would be useful.
I agree with previous supporters of this change. The facility to attach an agenda and previous meeting notes is needed when sending a team meeting invitation.

Is a must to include meeting agendas.
Yes, this is much needed
Absolutely need this capability. New to Teams, and ready to quit it already.

This is definitely needed! I'm having to send the agenda separately, having already wasted time to try to figure out where to do it on Teams.

This is a must have if you wish for us to use the Teams calendar and not have to toggle between 2 calendars.

Please add this
Useless ....cant attach a file when using teams to send out a calendar invite. You have to know and copy the link before starting to create the invite. total lack of integration.,
People are saying go into Outlook, but then you cant include the Team that aligns with the meeting invite.....
Teams would be great if the designers got their act together with some of the basics.
So you can't add an agenda to a Teams meeting unless you supply a link (which is only, I imagine, visible to people with access to Teams)? This will be very frustrating when the meeting is an interchangeable mix of internal and external people, therefore they have no team channel however you want your internal staff who organise these meetings to use Teams rather than Skype or Zoom.

Just fix this. Crazy oversight.

Need to share the content / relevant documents while scheduling meeting so that each participant can have a basic idea of the meeting before joining. So this feature is a must for teams meeting.
Please, add this as soon as possible.
"If you want to attach files to a teams meeting, go through Outlook and set a teams meeting from there. SOLVED!": does not work for Mac users. Not all Outlooks have the possibility to invite to a Teams meeting working properly.
You can attached documents to a "chat". After sending out your meeting invite, simply select chat and send a message to attendee(s) with documents attached.

If you want to attach files to a teams meeting, go through Outlook and set a teams meeting from there. SOLVED!
Channels (group of participants) can be added for a new meeting in MS Teams. In Outlook channels cannot be added to a MS Teams meeting?!
Attachments to a meeting are only possible in Outlook, but not in Teams.
That´s wired. Please improve asap.
Came here looking for an answer to add an attachment in Teams meeting invites and realized the way I'm already creating invites works just fine. Create the invite in your Outlook calendar, click the button to create a Teams Meeting & add the attachment as usual. The meeting is added to the teams calendar and the attachment is added to the body of the meeting as a link to the file (not sure it works for external users). However, once the appointment is created on the Teams calendar you can add the file, as well.
What archaic design. The folks at Microsoft Teams really dropped the ball in many aspects; not only one cannot attach a single file to a meeting notice, but one may not even save a draft of the meeting notice. There are no meeting reports showing participation either.
It only seems to me the Teams designing group failed to deliver or were totally unfamiliar - unaware of the end user needs. Extremely disappointing. I will not use Teams at all, unlewss forced to join someone else's meeting!!
Oh, and be mindful none of the chats may ever be deleted; they remain to perpetuity!!! Go figure that one too...
