Teams mute and remove participants
Currently anyone can mute or remove participants. It would be good if there is an option for organizers to control the muting/unmuting or removal of participants only.

It would even be good to know who is muting someone else. As it could just be inadvertent, being able to alert someone that they are muting someone else during their presentation would be helpful. If it was malicious in intent then, knowing they aren't not doing it anonymously, could also serve to discourage this behaviour.

they should allow only the organizer to mute or not the participants of a meeting, also that he is the one who can take the participants out right now anyone in the meeting has the possibility to do these tasks and it is not very healthy

Especially in an educational setting, the ability for students to mute and remove other participants is a real issue. There should be an easy default to start meetings with the ability for only the teacher to do that. Also, when a participant mutes or removes another, the user being muted or removed is informed, but it is anonymous. Mischevious students are taking advantage of this - a simple deterrent would be for the message to indicate who has muted or removed you - this would be better anyway, since there are legitimate use cases for this as well, but it should be transparent to the participant who has done it.

Already available. Please properly configure meeting properties.

This would also be great for (public) government meetings where the chairman needs to have full control and allow people to speak. If only the organizer or chairman would have this functionality it would help tremendously to keep the councilors from talking through each other when in an debate or argument.

Agreed, as all teachers are currently teaching students from home, other teachers are regularly joining in the groups to observe lessons, however this is difficult when students can remove teachers from these live classes

Agreed. This is a major limitation for teachers using Teams for live classes. Adding this functionality would make Teams a legitimate powerhouse in for educators.

We have also this problem. Is there a option to turn this option off? Only to give this option to the meeting organisator(teacher). At the moment we cannot use this for teaching.

I also have this problem when using Teams for online classes. Students are randomly removed.
It's annoying, especially when I, the organizer, get muted!
