How can we make Microsoft Teams better?

Colour categories in Calendar

It would be really useful for the Outlook colour categories to show in the Teams calendar. I rely heavily on these to make sense of my calendar with a large number of appointments and in the current release of calendar this will make me likely to still revert back to Outlook rather than use Teams for calendar management.

    This is seriously a feature that is critical to the calendar being useful. Please add options to color code!

    Absolutely agree that we need color categories in Teams. Otherwise I will rely on my Outlook calendar most of the time.

    I really want to switch over to Calendar on Teams, but I find the lack of categories / colours a real pain as I use them when I'm doing my weekly timesheet. Looks like I'm going to have to carry on using the outlook calendar ...

    I have been using color coding in Outlook for years. I was taken by surprise when I discovered that was not included in Teams. This is a drastic oversight as I'm forced to ignore the Teams calendar until it's actually time for a meeting. Without my color coding it's essentially useless.

    As a Project Manager I rely on color coding my meetings for my multiple project meetings. It helps me at a glace know what I need to prepare for the day ahead. It is a Outlook feature I miss greatly.

    I agree, outlook calender and teams calender should sync also used categories with their colours, please.

    Same comments, colors help us on day to day duties, to see what are the priorities , and to sort quickly what meeting /events to prioritize.

    this really is a much needed feature. I would go so far as to call it a bug, that this isn't already incorporated in Teams
