Colour categories in Calendar
It would be really useful for the Outlook colour categories to show in the Teams calendar. I rely heavily on these to make sense of my calendar with a large number of appointments and in the current release of calendar this will make me likely to still revert back to Outlook rather than use Teams for calendar management.

Please add the color categories to Teams. People in my department are having to use both outlook and teams to be able to manage categories at this time.

Please make this so, I live in Teams these days but would find it much more useful if I could colour code my calendar within the app.

This would be a real productivity/organization boost for me personally, and one less reason to need Outlook. It would be great, though, if Teams could share categorization already in Outlook so you'd only need to update once and still be able to see in both.

Please add this as soon as possible, I manage complex global projects and this is absolutely essential for managing my calendar. With my color coding in outlook I can tell at a glance what a meeting is related to, what team is attending, whether the meeting is internal or external etc.

Yes please! So many meetings and so many projects. Would love to be able to color code meetings by project to ensure I'm balancing my day accordingly.

This would be a huge benefit to our Agile teams for when it comes to planning. We love that the calendar view is no an option in teams channels but it needs to be enhanced quite a bit. Color formatting would be a huge win.

I wish for this every single day. I had been adding all my Outlook and Gmail work meetings to Teams to have only one calendar to view, but the lack of ability to differentiate with colors has made me back off from that plan--need the color capability so can see meeting categories and priorities at a glance as with Outlook.

I agree! I use colors especially for a "reminder" for myself to do something so it shows at a specific time. Please add colors to teams!

I would surely need this! Colour coding my calendar in Outlook is an important tool for me, and helps prioritise tasks and plan my workflow.

I would also love this improvement. I rely heavily on the color coding for priority setting with my assistant. We will keep using Outlook calendar until this feature is available.

Would be very helpful! I really like to color code my calendar and now it's not really helpful because everything is blue. Please consider adding this function.

I Agree! Ialso rely heavily on the colors used in Outlook. I have different teams & each one has a different color. It helps to orient me each day on which team member, team meeting or topic we are discussing or speaking to. I miss it Very much in TEAMS. Plus,we have started a Shared Calendar for PTO requests & it's nice to keep track of my team vs a different teams requests. I can zone in on my team to see if the day is covered. Thanks!

I too rely on my calendar and have different meeting, appointments etc. in different colors. I would prefer to use only one calendar instead of switching back and forth between Outlook and Teams; very cumbersome.

Yes, I agree completely. I utilize categories and colors heavily as I have multiple project teams, and have been utilizing categories in Outlook since it was available.

Yes, I agree, the more we are using teams and as our outlook calendar is also in teams, it would be useful to have that same functionality with the colour coding so that you don't have to revert back to outlook

I have multiple roles and my capacity to prioritize triple bookings while working with various time zones is reliant upon color categories I have in Outlook. Until this is made possible I am stuck in Outlook. Voting to please add this feature!
