Colour categories in Calendar
It would be really useful for the Outlook colour categories to show in the Teams calendar. I rely heavily on these to make sense of my calendar with a large number of appointments and in the current release of calendar this will make me likely to still revert back to Outlook rather than use Teams for calendar management.

+1 teams would be much better with appointments that could be visible in different colours in the calendar. I use colours in outlook to signal to my manager what is scheduled but interruptable time, and what is client/uninterruptable appointment time. In Teams when I forward plan work, it looks like he cannot interrrupt me ever, or I have to seem like I do 0 work by keeping the calendar empty and not do forward planning ! I would like to use teams as my main calendar, and not have to reference other calendars

Would be extremely useful. So many are working in different projects and need to be able to see an overall picture of their time.

Thank you Microsoft for putting together such a great combination of apps into one tool. Unfortunately I have missed 3 meetings because I couldn't see my appointments in the calendar. I have difficulty focusing on the page, and it all blurs together with my therapy sessions. Please add color, at least "Red", so I can make my meetings stand out. Please help : -) Thank you again for this useful tool!

All our Administrative Assistants, Executives, Program Managers, and employees rely on this. They will all see a drop in value form their experience in Teams, if Teams cannot be updated to get this information visible in Teams.

Yes it is needed to see the event categories in Team calendar.
Why not a categories filter as well, in order to display e.g. calendar views by project -

Yes, this is a great idea. I am a Head of Department in a Secondary School and we are currently teaching remotely. I have to have my whole department's lessons on my calendar and colour coding would allow me to quickly see when my lessons and each member of the team's lessons are scheduled.

Would be helpful! I use it a lot
