Will this be available before Skype for Business goes away in July 2021?

The inability to adjust this is making call queue members miss calls. Please add

Why in the WORLD was this changed to only a few minutes. The user should be able to control this. This needs to be added to Teams immediately!

I have two profiles. Currently one is set on Skype and the other on Teams. If I am in a meeting under the one that isn't signed in to Teams, then Teams will think I'm idle and say I am Away. This is unacceptable. My employer and clients monitor this status to determine my availability. I need to be able to manually set this. I have also had Team switch to Away while I am doing work on paper. So I have to constantly remember to move the mouse, which is extremely frustrating and distracting. MS should not assume all work is done using the keyboard and the mouse!

Yes, should have been there from the beginning. Lack of it looks like intended surveillance and IS a privacy issue.

Yes we need this feature, what is the default time for Teams for showing status as inactive or away?

Yes please add this feature. Even if I am at my desk reading rather than typing on my keyboard, Teams very quickly shows that I'm "Inactive" and shortly after that "Away" and not available, which is simply not true..

There´s really no reasone why a usefule feature that was available on Skype shouldn't be available on Teams

We definitely need this feature. Additional information, when using the Focus feature from the Insights add-in in Outlook, if you go inactive (Away) for a short period of time and then come back, Teams will show you in the Focused status again, but Outlook will remain in Away status. That's not good.

A simple opt out of this feature would be a necessity also.
