Reliability issues: crashing, hanging, freezing
Literally Teams will crash 5 or 6 times a day. Hugely annoying and unproductive.

And this is why I use some apps especially in my iPad.

Same here, I go into teams and I can hear the audio and then suddenly my screen goes black. So since I have to complete my meeting for work, I shut my computer down and I once again open my laptop( Bla,Bla,bla). Then I find out that I missed a session. :((((

App constantly crashes in windows 7 and windows 10. Our users have logon issues everyday...we're constantly having to purge and reinstall Teams because the MFA prompts hang it up.

I'm getting this too. Seems to be a drawing problem for me (Teams desktop app on Mac OS Catalina) because
a) audio carries on
b) people say they can still see and hear me
c) most importantly when I mouse over the app, video starts going again - so mouseover shifts focus to app, and app starts drawing againfeels like some kind of drawing timeout is happening. This may perhaps be linked to the fact that once the app's been open a short while, all my alerts also come up as blank boxes until i mouseover them - then they get drawn.

I had presented the Slides with Microsoft PowerPoint on sharing screen. I kept it for recording. My Screen got hanged but students were able to see the slides so couldn't know I was hanged. After I refreshed the page recording video was black screen with students voice. Nothing was recorded about my presentation. Please tell me how to fix this.

Teams keeps on lagging, keeps freezing and automatically closes. When i reboot it, it says 'glitch', but it never resolves itself. Happened multiple times since early April 2020. Can we fix this???

MS Teams just freezes the whole computer for several seconds, this is just happening when I am using MS Teams application, when using web-based version, it is fine. This started happening on my PC on 1st of May 2020 when MS Teams did auto update.

Teams crashes, error code CAA301F7
Laptop is an HP 840 G3, running Win10 Pro version 1909 OS build 18363.815 and BIOS P78 ver. 01.25, 1/2/19
This is not just this laptop, but other laptops we support that are having this problem. At first just a handful, but the numbers are growing. User can still access Teams via the web portal and app on their phones, but not on the laptops. We have tried steps to fix his by clearing out caches and uninstalling and reinstall and this problem still persists. I cannot find a solution to this specific error code and we need a fix sooner than later. Any and all assistance is helpful. -

Yep, my laptop has frozen for a few seconds each time I have used Teams but it locked up completely twice this evening when I was presenting a meeting and had to be rebooted twice. Not a good example of Teams at its best for my students. Happened to one of my colleagues on another machine at another location this afternoon too. An update from MS on whether they recognise this as a global issue and are looking at it would be good...

When I select Join Meeting from Outlook, it opens the meeting in the browser, then I have to open Teams (every time!) and then Teams crashes (not responding message). I restart Teams, and it still doesn't respond. So I have to join with the Web app. I
It only happens with a meeting from Outlook (Teams Meeting selected in Outlook) when I select Join Microsoft Teams Meeting FROM OUtlook meeting request.

Nothing seems to fix the issue, have tried uninstalling and clearing all the app data multiple times. Disabled camera. There are many users who are facing this issue and there is no known solution or workaround. I am literally unable to use the app at all to attend meetings since it will involve someone sharing their screen.

Teams works like a charm on my (HP) laptop. On my Surface Pro 7 (Core i5, 16GB) though, my battery is getting warmer than normal. And when I want to change my background or blur it in Teams, Teams crashes and restarts once. After that, it keeps crashing but doesn't restart automatically. It makes no difference if I have more applications open or just Teams.
This occurs since a week or so, just after a Microsoft update.
I sent the logfile already to the email address mentioned by Alex (post of Feb. 7th, 2018).

Teams crashes on every call and meeting when I try share my screen. If I'm lucky it will be ok for 1 or 2 mins max before crashing.
Other users in my organisation and 3rd party calls often share their screens with me with no issue.
'Old' Skype for business we have, still working fine, but my company is losing this soon.
Microsoft - seems to be a very common compliant - please fix very soon.

Same as everyone else, MS Teams randomly freezes the visual image while the audio continues as expected.
Short term fix that works for me: One way to unfreeze the view is to trigger something that redraws (part of) the screen. Example: alt+tab to a different app then back to Teams or, more easily, toggle the mute/volume +/- button on your keyboard, which displays a small visual alert and unlocks Teams.
Note: You may have to do this a few times, but eventually the visuals will become "unfrozen".... until you switch apps and go back to Teams :(
Annoying to say the least.

My MS Teams desktop application shuts down my entire computer occasionally. And after shut down, sometimes it restarts on its own, and sometimes it doesn't. This is very frustrating and keeps me from doing school work. I have also tried the web version, and it has the same issue. Microsoft, you need to fix this soon. If this happens during one of my exams, I will report this app.

This just happened to me during my video meeting. Started screen sharing and it began to freeze then stayed frozen until I rebooted the computer. Then when I rejoined the call it did it again and caused my computer to overheat. So I gave up and had to turn the computer off and let it rest. Microsoft please fix this ASAP. It’s impossible to get work done like this.
