Currently the meeting Notes can only be view by the original attendee list. If we add a new participant, he/she cannot view the meeting notes. We need for all participants joining to be able to see all past and current meeting notes.
Participants from outside the organization should also be able to view and edit meeting notes if the host allows it.
It's been a year now, has this been addressed? We have just had a huge predicament with a meeting that new attendees cannot see the notes. IT got involved trying to trouble shoot. Eventually we decided the only way would be to try and get our boss to delete the entire series and re-invite everyone. Guess how that went? It didnt! SO now we have to post the meeting notes in the chat. BUT the latest update made it impossible to paste the amount of notes in chat! So where can the notes go?
CUZ I can't -for the life of me- find the notes anywhere outside of teams either? We open OneNote and that's a confusing place. What a mess! I guess we will go back to good ol' email until this is worked out. >:D
Has anyone come across a solution for this issue yet?
Anthony - I was in the same situation as you. I added my boss and told him the notes were out there. After several back-and-forth discussions.... I looked stupid!
We just ran into this with a meeting used for a team bug hunt. I struggle to understand why anyone ever thought that the current design was a good idea. There are things called recurring meetings. There is also a thing called hiring. I shouldn't have to redo my recurring meeting from scratch just to allow new team members to view the meeting notes.

I agree! Also if a user misses the first instance of a recurring meeting even if they were already invited they won't be able to see notes ever. Or if someone comes to the first meeting late after the notes are created they also won't be able to see them.
We spent an hour today trying to figure out why no matter what device or app or computer I'd try, I was unable to seeing Meeting Notes. This is stupid and it makes the person who can't open the notes look stupid (me).
You could at least add an explanation, "you can't see these notes because you were added to the meeting after they were created" instead of wasting our time. Better yet, notify the person starting the meeting that any people added after the notes are created can not see them.

The inability for new attendees to see meeting notes, even after they've been added to a recurring meeting is a big problem. This essentially means we cannot use the feature for any recurring meetings - which means I shouldn't use it at all as it is silly to store meeting notes for a team in multiple locations.
There is also a 20 person limit. Allow all attendees to see it.
Same requirement. We had a meeting today where we used the meeting notes tab to document decisions and follow-up actions. We need to provide that information to some people not in the meeting and not part of the group who need to be informed about the follow-up actions. I thought I would be able to print the notes to a PDF or otherwise get them out of Teams. Nope - not doable. The only option is to cut and paste the content and reformat it circa 1995.

This is required basic functionality and should be considered a Bug, not a Feature.

I agree wholeheartedly! We use the Meeting Notes as our weekly agenda and anytime there is employment turnover, my only option is to create a new meeting, losing the original meeting history in the process - the opposite of productive.
I agree. This is bull!
