Channel notification settings: ability to change default via admin center
Please add via Teams admin to change the default Channel Notifications for "All New Posts" to Banner and Feed" vs default to "off."
This is very important vs relying on team members to change this setting themselves per channel.
Let them change it if they don't want to receive notifications for certain channels. If you have over 30 channels and like 10 different teams, going through them all to change this settings is terrible especially if you NEED the notifications for the majority of them.
This is very much needed
seems like a no brainier setting since we can't set it with a GPO or REG KEY

I want to know why teams could be not changed by default.
Lack of notifications is the number one reason users go back to email.

As an Admin for an MSP that uses Teams as our central communications platform - this is a must.
I have Team Owners wanting to set some Channel Notifications to On by Default.
Really need this to happen. Just started using Teams in our organization and were having adoption issues because channel notifications are set to off by default in every channel created.
Add to Admin center or Powershell please!
This feature would be ideal for ensuring targeted announcements notify members of teams, and people ‘showing’ different channels. It would make cross posting to teams and channels more effective.
