Add multiple contacts to groups each time
Adding 1 contact each time is too slow. I would like the ability to add multiple contacts to each contact group each time the button is pressed.

I am trying to add an email group to teams and it is not worth doing because of the immense time it would take. It's causing Team's best function to become useless to large teams.

We need organisation-wide contact availability overviews in order to successfully move away from Skype for Business, and it's tedious work trying to achieve this per-user.

And also add the ability to add some kind of group with users.

We need this functionality to quickly view presence information for our employees. Adding them one by one doesn't won't work, there are too many of us.

Yes, this functionality needs to be added please. With a large quantity of contacts, the current way is very cumbersome to say the least.

I want to add a group of people to the Group chat function in Teams. It's called a 'Group' however a large number of people can't be added or imported? Seems a bit backwards!

Leave it to Microsoft to consider this as a non-essential feature for a product specifically designed to be used by large groups of people.

I agree, its nice how skype has the feature to do CTRL + click on your list of contacts then you right click and press start IM to create a group chat. SO MUCH FASTER.

How to Add Multiple Members In Microsoft Teams in One Go:

preferrably the same way we can do in outlook. separated by a semi-colon...

yes that would be a really smart idea - and a good reason not to hold your breath

Lets be very clear here - Microsoft Teams is not 'Fit For Purpose' to replace Skype for Business. Issues like this need fixing urgently. Management of membership and contacts lists should be dynamically updating from Security Groups or Distributions lists - end of story.

We just migrated and if you uninstall and reinstall MS Teams, it will bring your Skype contact lists back.

It could be great to have the possibility to add it throught powershell or even show the contacts of the GAL on Teams grouped by Team, Location, etc.

For me, this needs to happen ASAP. My company is moving us to Teams and I should not have to spend a ridiculous amount of time building new contact lists into Teams. Either my company should be able to set up contacts by each team that users are built into, or I should have been able to move them from Skype. We didn't ask for this migration, we shouldn't have to start over. At a lesser extent, we should at least be able to build multiple contacts into a contact group. Then, if we built in individual groups, I could go to my organization tree and pull down specifics instead of having to start over with each individual.
