Voicemail on busy
When someone calls me, either internally or externally, and I'm on another call, the default behavior should send the call to voicemail after popping a notification and perhaps a subtle ring. This business of ringing more than once when I'm on a call is not helpful.
Admins can now set Busy Options to the value “unanswered.” When this option is chosen by the Teams Admin, calls will be routed according to users unanswered call choices in the Teams Settings | Calls menu. A user can opt to have incoming callers to leavethem a voicemail when they are already on a call.

Any updates? This feature is so important I can't believe it's not already in the system.
Need this basic PBX feature - ASAP
lol what an absolute joke.

It's beyond bizarre that this feature is missing from the phone system! It's time to start nailing the basics before trying to get clever with Teams features.

This is a really important feature to add. Some people get a high volume of calls and it's quite daft that they don't have the option to have the second line go to voicemail or transfer automatically. This should be the default.
Any updates on this? This is really a basic feature that ALL systems including legacy phone systems have. I do not see why MS has not added it yet.

This should be a standard feature as it is used on all phone systems including cellular networks.
Why on earth is this not a standard feature yet!!
Yes, this is an option that has been available on any phone system for decades. Come on Microsoft, get this feature added :).

I have the same comment than the others. If we don't have this option, our customer is getting crazy...
I hope that we will have it soon ! Nick.
I would like voicemail on busy as a standard option and also a forward on busy feature.
we would also love the voicemail-on-busy feature
like others, we love to implement either Busy on VM or Busy on playing announcement
Hi this needs sorting please... not professional to leave customers hanging with busy tone.....

This is crazy! A busy signal? I absolutely love Microsoft and I really love Teams, but c'mon - this isn't 1989. I can't remember a time that I have heard a busy signal on anything other than a line or system that wasn't functioning correctly. On a business voice system and the best you can come up with is to give the caller a busy signal. That is just horrible.
I have busy on busy turned on for my customer service group because the calling queue that they are part of just keeps sending them calls, even though they are still on the phone. setting busy on busy is the only way I could get the queue to stop "ringing in their ear". Now, no one can leave them voicemail because they are always on the phone.

After 3 months, how can this still be under review.
We have put significant investment into SBC, Direct Routing, etc. to enable us to provide Teams as a telephony service and we are now at risk of losing 2 customers who feel that this feature being missing is a massive SLA failure for how they handle calls.
I cannot stress how important this feature is, and in a time where the uptake of users on Teams is at its highest and people working from home, to not have the ability to have calls sent to voicemail when you are on a call is just unacceptable.
