Voicemail on busy
When someone calls me, either internally or externally, and I'm on another call, the default behavior should send the call to voicemail after popping a notification and perhaps a subtle ring. This business of ringing more than once when I'm on a call is not helpful.

We are still considering the Voicemail on Busy feature for future releases, and will continue to update the status when it changes.
Note: The Busy on Busy feature has been released. Please see the following documentation for admin details:
https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoftteams/teams-calling-policy
https://docs.microsoft.com/powershell/module/skype/set-csteamscallingpolicy
Thanks.

Solution is poor either way - either you get constantly interrupted during meetings or people who call you get an engaged tone. Voicemail is needed.

PSTN based telefon systems of the 80`s already suppported this, and no, it is not outdated or yesterdays communication, it is just plain necessary if you don't want to be rude to your customers.

This is not a very good experience if you have a switch board looking to transfer calls to individuals who are on a call or in a meeting. Enabling "Voicemail for Busy" surely has to be a priority when a huge proportion of people are working remotely and the likelihood is that they will be on a lot of calls / meetings during the day.

How can such a basic function still be "Under Review". Presenting a Busy Tone or cutting a caller off when you are in a meeting is an attrocious "customer service" practice, and the voicemail needs to be implemented sooner rather than later.

This is a basic phone feature. I have numerous requests from users that want to know why this is broken, and I agree with them. Please add this feature to the Teams package.

You could actually take this further. What would be more useful is the option for users to decide how their additional calls are handled when they're on a call. The option to send to voicemail or to route to another number or group would be excellent.

Voicemail on Busy will be a lot better than call being rejected on a busy tone.
Please let us know when this feature is available. -

With respect, I'm not sure what there is to review on this feature - it seems a pretty basic requirement to be honest, and I'm amazed it doesn't already have it out of the box.

This feature is vital now - Skype had it and feels like we have moved to a product that does not support even basic features.

I can't believe this wasn't part of the initial release of Microsoft Business Voice. I don't think there's another legitimate phone system in the world that doesn't have the ability to send a call to voicemail if the person is busy or on another call. I really want to migrate phone system over to MS Business Voice, but I keep finding missing basic features that you would just assume would be there.
Let's go Microsoft! You can do it!

Any updates on this feature?

It would be incredibly useful for the Busy on Busy feature to allow callers to leave a voicemail rather than just reject the call. This is important for businesses. Users shouldn't have to be expected to change their status every time they are on a call to not be interrupted by additional incoming calls and risk their incoming calls being rejected. Please resolve this feature. Thanks
