Voicemail on busy
When someone calls me, either internally or externally, and I'm on another call, the default behavior should send the call to voicemail after popping a notification and perhaps a subtle ring. This business of ringing more than once when I'm on a call is not helpful.
We are still considering the Voicemail on Busy feature for future releases, and will continue to update the status when it changes.

How can this be something you're considering? That seems absolutely ludicrous. This is a must have feature that many users use.
To further elaborate my point, you have it set up to where users can go in to their own teams and edit settings such as , if I don't answer my phone, then allow the person to leave a voicemail or be transferred to something else.
How could you possibly think that those features are feasible if a person doesn't answer their phone and not on the phone. But it is not feasible when a person doesn't answer their phone because they are on the phone.
Please stop with the shenanigans, Please give the people what they want, thank you.
Yes, but let the user make the choice. Either show the call, send a busy signal or direct the call to the voicemail. Please no policy. Thanks
There should not be a busy signal. If an end user is busy the end user should have the choice of sending the call to voicemail or ringing through. As a switchboard and administrative assistant, my calendar is always full showing me busy. But my priority is answering calls and transferring them. Now I have an increase of upset callers that can't reach end users voicemail with out calling back and going through switchboard just to go to someone's voicemail. Very poor design. Using global policy for busy on busy does not leave the option up to end users that may receive important calls that interrupt their day.
We need this feature asap, every cheapest pbx has this function, it is a must have

Please add this feature. I had this set up on my work phone prior to our move to Teams. It is very frustrating no longer having this basic telephony feature in Teams. The sooner this feature can be added the better.

Voicemail on busy needs to be implemented asap. It's in Skype for Business Server so why not Teams?
Surely this something that is pretty fundamental on any sort of telephony system. MS please implement this ASAP. It should not be even under consideration.
This is a must for our organisation. Better still would be the option to choose between going to voicemail and going to another user

On behalf of over 30 users at our organisation, please implement a Voicemail When Busy feature.
This feature is a must, not having it is a total mis-understanding of what the customer requires. I believe my first mobile phone (20 years ago....) had this feature.

For God's sake this is basic. Given some of the glaring oversights of this platform I'm surprised Microsoft decided to include a dial pad with the Teams phone system. GET WITH IT MS!
Please address this as it is very distracting to the person being called who has no way of silencing it.
