"No One" choice in the lobby.
Please add the "No one" choice to the Meeting Options section, aka. The Lobby.
We are happy to announce the “Only me” option for “Who can bypass lobby?” setting is now available for Teams meetings. Details on the new lobby option can be found here, https://support.microsoft.com/office/change-participant-settings-for-a-teams-meeting-53261366-dbd5-45f9-aae9-a70e6354f88e.

At the very least, add an option in the Meeting Options that says "NOBODY" can bypass lobby.

We've just had a CFO ask why unauthorised internal users were able to join his confidential meeting without someone approving them. Its utterly ironic that MS have been praising their security practices compared to Zoom but leave such an open hole in their own.
I'm bemused by the thought process that went into leaving this feature out. Skype for Business had this option as does every other competitor.
Someone internally at MS had to consciously decide to leave this out. I have more options to control what GIFs I want my users to use. Absolutely unforgivable.
And now you're making us vote for you to follow basic best practice...
1. As a recruiter and will use MS Teams for interviews, I also support greater control of who can join meetings. I agree with the suggestion made by others that regardless if they are internal or external to the organisation there should be an option for all users to wait in the lobby until they are admitted in by the meeting organiser. It would be very helpful if this enhancement could be applied asap.
2. In addition, could there be an option for the meeting organiser to deselect the use of video recording being available by the person joining the meeting?

Please provide option for attendees - both internal and external to the organisation - to be required to wait in lobby/waiting room unit admitted by a meeting host or organiser. I want to use MST for conducting interviews, so panel need to be able to admit candidates at appropriate time. Candidates also need to be required to exit at the end of this allotted time - and not able to stay in the 'room'.
It would be good to have an option where people can be moved back into the lobby to wait to re-enter if needed. Also having everyone in the lobby and having the organizer bring people in as needed.
Please change the setting so those invited to a meeting will be sent to a waiting room until the meeting starts.

I have seen a new option appear in "meeting options" for "Always allow callers to bypass the lobby" Yes/No (See screenshot). Is this related to this UV ticket? Or does this apply to dial-in users only? I cannot find any documentation on this option.
This is really needed for schools please - we have kids entering scheduled meetings/lessons before days before the teacher. The equivalent of an unsupervised classroom.

We often have employees participating in meetings with presentations as part of the agenda. It would be good if we could invite them only for part of the meeting.
This would be a great function to have!

THis function would be really great to have when conducting meeting with several input givers joining throughout the meeting. TO be able to have them waitiong in the Lobby, and manage the setttings in advance of the meeting.

I would really appreciate this setting. As a teacher I need to be very involved in the conversation to help my students learn proper online actions. I would also like to know when I end a meeting that my students aren't able to reopen it.
A much needed improvement. As a teacher I would like to have the option to have students wait in the lobby until I am ready to teach them. Also, there is great concern that students can stay on longer after I have completed the meeting. They can rejoin, this draws concern for unsupervised meetings.
This would really be an improvement.
This would be really handy. In some classes uninvited students come in a live lesson and starts to pollute the chat. With this option we can better control which student is in which class.
Yes please. This has been requested for our Executive meetings, so participants are only admitted when it's their turn to present.
Hi there, we are also having the problem with students joining the meeting before it starts. Some Teachers want to use Teams for there consultation hour and only want one student in the meeting and after that let the next one in from the lobby.
In Skype4Business the options are very nice for that. Maybe you only could make the same options available for Teams Meetings!
We have about 17k Users in our Tenant and this option is requested very often.
As attachment, you see the (german) options from Skype for Business.
As a teacher I am unable to monitor the conversation from beginning to end.
Currently, students are able to join well before the set start time of the meeting or stay on well past the teacher has left the meeting [and they can rejoin after the teacher has left the meeting without the teacher there] which is the equivalent of allowing an unsupervised class. Not good. Please change this ASAP Microsoft!
