"No One" choice in the lobby.
Please add the "No one" choice to the Meeting Options section, aka. The Lobby.
We are happy to announce the “Only me” option for “Who can bypass lobby?” setting is now available for Teams meetings. Details on the new lobby option can be found here, https://support.microsoft.com/office/change-participant-settings-for-a-teams-meeting-53261366-dbd5-45f9-aae9-a70e6354f88e.

Had to investigate multiple internal Teams conference issues that this would have avoided as many assume Teams works like Skype for Business with controls for joining meetings. This will avoid so much pain and wasted time and give users the control they expected with Teams
Similar feature available in Lync and SFB
We removed it from Teams
This is top feature requested by by FSI customers
Education users need this
Teachers need this!

Please take away the 'attendees' ability to mute and unmute other 'attendees'. This shouldn't be happening anyway. Only the host is supposed to have the ability to 'mute' all attendees. Attendees are not supposed to be able to do this. During my 'meetings' on Teams I will mute my 3rd grade students so I can teach a lesson without hearing background noises, yet one of them keeps unmuting everyone like it's a game. We go through a continuous back & forth cycle of me muting and that student unmuting. It's frustrating and disruptive.
There is another similar to this request which has a higher voted. Do consider to vote there too. :)

Hi Alex! Can we have a status update on this one? Our school desperately needs the lobby for our teachers to be able to schedule their class lectures ahead of time. Right now doing so allows students to start the meeting without a teacher present, and way before the actual scheduled time (this should not even be possible). COVID-19 has dramatically increased the need for this to go live asap!
Thank you MS Teams crew for all your hard work going into improvements/features/bug fixes/etc.
Keep up the good work!

Yes, we are an entire school district using Teams and we need to be able to do this. Thanks!
Thank you for this, it is a very important feature for schools/safeguarding. Please can you let us know when it may be available. Thanks
Thank you for working on this one! Please keep us updated for release.

This is important when working with K-12 students.
We plan to use Microsoft Team to organize a secret meeting. We have to control the attendees to attend the meeting. The meeting can be start while the host arrives. All the attendees no matter people in the organization or external guests should wait in the lobby.
Please make this a priority, thank you!

Also, is there a way other participants (members that are usually students) can't mute the organizer? They shouldn't have that kind of power.
At the moment, I have to literally create the meeting at the exact moment I want to start. Very inconvenient!

So important for Teams meetings in education!! Please make this a priority, thank you!!
as our steering committee is looking to replace Zoom by teams, this is a needed feature before the move can be done.
For our steering meetings, internal people need to be added to the meeting when their topic is being discussed, but they cannot be in the meeting from the start untill the end.
If this is not possible, Zoom will be the tool to be used, which would be a shame...
I think the best way for this feature is to configure Teams in the same way as Zoom with a waiting room. I proposed this solution here: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/40115101-waiting-room-feature
Please can we have the lobby feature for Teams. Zoom has this feature and it gives Zoom the edge in my opinion.
