"No One" choice in the lobby.
Please add the "No one" choice to the Meeting Options section, aka. The Lobby.

We are happy to announce the “Only me” option for “Who can bypass lobby?” setting is now available for Teams meetings. Details on the new lobby option can be found here, https://support.microsoft.com/office/change-participant-settings-for-a-teams-meeting-53261366-dbd5-45f9-aae9-a70e6354f88e.
Thanks!

Agreed with others here - this is essential for us to adopt Teams in our office instead of Skype4Business where we can currently control access to have one student at a time come in for drop-in advising in our meetings. Can you please let us know a broad timeline for expected implementation? Thank you.

This feature needs to be provided now! It should be really easy to implement and it is such a must have feature.

Teams Meetings is kind of dead in the water without this feature (as a bare minimum). The analogy is simple - real life "Meetings" tend to take place in a room that remains locked when not in use, attendees gather outside before the meeting starts, and then when it finishes the room gets locked again. Spaces where this does not occur would be more akin to social areas - and for that we also have the analogous "Social Media." So in other words, when the clue is in the name, it really should follow through.

It's especially needed now, is there an expected RFS date?

Posting again - any ideas on the release date? We would love to see this feature soon especially for our highly sensitive meetings. Shame its taking so long as it was a feature that existed in Skype, should have really left it in Teams! https://support.microsoft.com/en-ie/office/decide-who-has-to-wait-in-the-lobby-to-get-in-to-a-skype-for-business-meeting-c6f26fc7-1f22-41b5-a775-33141e44d7f4

An obvious option dear MS - attendees entering a meeting before the Organiser/Presenter and even worse - after meeting has ended???

Are we close to having this implemented? I just set up 4 scheduled meetings for groups next week and students started all of them without my knowledge. NOT a good thing to happen.

This would be a great feature for teachers who conduct online video assessments and thus don't want other students entering the call and listening in.

This option is really needed to control people from the organisation who are attendees coming into the meeting before the scheduled time when presenters are still chatting prior to the meeting formally commencing.

Similar to other users, I work in a large UK university and we'd love to be able to force all users (principally: students) to wait in a Lobby before admission to a meeting in certain contexts. So a "No-one" option would be great for "Who can bypass the lobby?", as would "invited participants only".

Students are starting scheduled meetings before the teacher and it’s a chaos.

Will just post to further the need. We are in the middle of moving people from Skype to Teams and this was brought up as a shortcoming of Teams of a feature that is in Skype. Like many others have said, we have need for some meetings to have people enter the "room" when it is their turn and not before and this is causing an adoption issue.

We are doing parent-teacher interviews and we want parents/students to wait in the lobby until the previous interview is finished. At the moment, students can jump in because they are part of the organisation and can bypass the lobby.
Really would be helpful the "no one" option in the meeting options so that every has to go through the lobby.
