Allow Guest user to upload files in Teams chat
Can you please make the functionality to allow Guest user to upload files in Teams chat.
We are trying to use the free version of Teams but we can not attach or upload files to chats. This message pops up "Sorry, you need OneDrive for Business to share files
See your admin about getting a license." Any idea what to to?
Please let guest user to upload files in Teams chat, it's so weird that we paid for Teams and our guest user cannot upload or attach files in Teams chat in private or group chat.
Due to this limited feature I had to go back to the free Teams version instead. Cos the FREE Teams version lets everyone uploads files in Teams chat in both private and group chat.
Please fix this soon MS Teams team.

This is absolutely necessary for our organisation as we have offices in Hong Kong and Germany with different office 365 tenants and we need to to exchange files both ways.

This definitely inhibits effective communication when dealing with teams that are made up of a mix of contractors and employees. Please fix!

We do work with a lot of contractors and we do face this issue too. They can upload screenshots in the "Teams" area, but not in the "Chats" which is a bit annoyance to them.

This seems like a huge oversite, something Slack already does. Why not just add the files to the subscribers OneDrive? Then it is at least shared between the two people.
+1 for this in user to guest-user private chats.

Users in my company are experiencing the same issue. The users experiencing the upload issue are guest members of a clients teams group. Within their chat, some guest users can drop/upload files, while other guest users are not able to. Is there a fix for this?
