Reply link should be replaced by reply textbox in team channels
The reply action link below a thread is not visible enough and my work colleagues often create a new threads instead of replying to the existing thread.
I believe that happens because the reply link is too obscured and the textbox for a new thread below is much more visible and leads to the mistakes.
If a smaller textbox for the reply is shown instead of the reply link it would surely be more visible and it shouldn't increase the vertical space of the thread by much.

This is the single biggest pain point when moving to Teams. The mobile versions don't have this problem. Android uses a text box for reply and a big Material Design round button for a new conversation. iOS is similar in that it has a button to specify a new conversation and reply is a text box.
Note there are numerous variations on this request floating around on uservoice.

I couldn't agree more with this request and both previous comments! I'm going to ask all my teammates to add their votes to this one.

10000% need to do this. I cannot tell you how many times (because it is too many to count) smart, tech savvy, people create an entirely new conversation to say, "me too," or a new conversation to say, "That's what I thought."
What is what they thought? We don't know.
After a year of using Teams and people are still not replying correctly, the problem is with the UI.
100% need to do this. If Microsoft is not going to do this, then it needs to give Team owners the ability to move a comment to an existing thread. Otherwise it just breaks up the conversation and defeats one of the literal Microsoft selling points for the application.
