Error in displaying OneNote Tab in Teams 2016 client
New error starting July 25, 2019 - Teams client will not display existing OneNote tabs. These are in several different Teams that have existed and worked fine for months now and suddenly have stopped working (just get blank screen). Have to open in One Note client/web or go to Teams web client. This is not acceptable to require a change in user behaviors. Please fix ASAP!!!

Just found the fix for my problem on my own. I had changed my password for Windows 10 and O365 and for some reason, I guess Teams didn't get properly updated. While it would let me use the Teams client (because I was logged in to the company domain???), it wouldn't let me see any OneNote tabs in the Teams client. By going to the Teams client and clicking on my picture in the top banner and then choosing sign out and then signing back in, it fixed the issue.
