User Status and In/out board
we currently use an outlook addin called out n about to list our agency users with status and status messages. I see this is already in teams, but I'd like to see a dedicated tab to show show current users all at once and the be able to sort/group users by department. it would make things easier for our receptionist to track folks down when looking them up as it can be done that way with our current app.
we just wanna streamline our transition into teams to make it as easy as possible for the user. teams is almost there, it just needs a better way to display users rather than having to search one by one our by specific teams. team leads change all the time.... receptionists may not know a lead has changed
Would like to see this as well. As a workaround, we're teaching staff to use the "/org" and then search for a person's name to get a general sense of if that person is available as well as who else on their team under their manager might be available.
But we'd rather have a common centralized board with all staff listed and their status made known.

Seconded. We are in a government client and unable to use third-party solutions to this issue.
Skype allowed this sort of functionality, but as it's end of life approaches, we don't have a good solution to this problem available.
so clearly, this is not being seen as important enough to even comment back to... at the very least, can you not allow admins to create a global contact list and add more than one user at a time. this way we can share it to our reception.
