Contacts - Business Name
Outlook 2016, and previous versions, allows a contact to be stored with only a Business Name, which is a wonderful feature.
Teams does not natively include a column for Business Name within the contacts list, nor is the contacts list configurable in any way to show Business Name without revising the contacts in Outlook. Therefore the fifty businesses stored in Outlook with only a business name show up in Teams with only a phone number, no name whatsoever.
This issue is significant on the basis that my business is paying MS for a Phone System, Domestic Calling Plan, and Communications Credits, all used through Teams with and its Contacts list, but that requires a user to flip to Outlook's contacts list to obtain a 3rd party business' phone number.
It's obvious a requirement to have the company name shown in the "Contacts" list in Teams. Some account managers change so often at our vendors, so we only remember the company name. You cannot even search for the company name in Teams.
We need this.
How old is this post and why hasn't MS allowed the company name to be shown in contacts. Isn't Teams supposed to be a B2B solution. It would also be helpful to have the ability to include shared contacts in Teams. I have multiple groups of contacts in Outlook but can only see my contacts, i cannot add my shared contacts.
