organization-wide manage email domain whitelist
It appears as though we can whitelist email domains for each channel. However, it appears as though we cannot whitelist email domains at the team level or org-wide. I would like to make an org-wide setting to only allow email sent from our domain to enhance the security of a team. That way, no spam or phishing would make it into Teams, even if the email address got into the wild, making it a far more secure communication platform than email.

This exists now. But the way it's implemented is really annoying. I would like the setting to be optionally as "default only", as in, teams/channels can choose to whitelist additional domains, but by default they would be restricted to the organisation whitelist. Our organisation has implemented the whitelist, however to allow specific emails to a single channel now, the entire organization needs to have that incoming domain whitelisted.. dumb.
Yes this should be a must options, as channels are within a team and team access is on membership basis... so allowing any one to send emails to channel email looks more like security and privacy issue and potentially spam could be send.
there should be option to set default email domain (which could be controlled at organization level) and option to select "any email address can send message to this channel" .. in case somone team want to use channel for some public / open forum use.
