Shifts time clock on desktop
At the moment, shifts time clock is only available on mobile. It would be useful to add the time clock on desktop too.
Come on Microsoft!
How can you claim to implement this on the desktop but not add the ability to EDIT your clock in/out times?
As it stands, this is useless on desktop!

We don't issue phones to every employee, and I'm not going to force them to use their personal phones. Full desktop functionality is the only way we can switch to Shifts for time management.
Managers should be able to edit and lock employee time sheets. How are we supposed to fix time sheets for employees who don't use a smart phone? Or better yet, allow time clock editing and confirming on desktop so that non-mobile employees can fix their own time sheets (but managers should still have the ability to edit). Until this is available, my business cannot not switch to Shifts.

it should be in both versions, why is it NOT IN BOTH??? Managers may not be using the mobile device, and even if they are, they cannot edit their employees from either. This is a critical function for this to be a viable solution as a time management system!!

End of Day EDIT & CONFIRM functions not in desktop version. Don't understand how Microsoft implements the desktop version and it doesn't do exactly what the mobile app does.

The desktop time-clocking isn't available for first-line workers yet. Please add this are these are the people most likely to use the time clocking feature.
This is available now and helpful - but EDIT is only available on mobile... And it is essential otherwise we have just done part of it.
Please also fix this one https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/edit-time-sheet-in-shifts-for-teams/78c0cbef-5bec-4d39-9fbe-1975a839feb2 as you cannot edit the clock, the comparison is done only using the time, not the date, which seems a very obvious bug... i.e. the validation thinks Monday 8pm is later than Tuesday 6am because it only compares the time, not the dates...
As JC Stated "Clock In" has shown up on the MS Teams Desktop App, finally! Not sure why MS didn't let us know!
Hi everyone. Said capability is already available thru MS Teams Desktop. Kudos to Microsoft.
Can we get an estimate of when the desktop version can be available?
Por favor, es necesario añadir esta opción. Gracias

Few people have city issued cell phones... Many are working from home and need to "clock-in" and "clock-out" with the desktop version of the app for COVID related health concerns of using common physical scanners.

Common, it is obvious that a desktop version is required. We cannot use physical sign in and out due to Covid and in our school we have restrictions of mobile devices in classes. We do have desktops and laptops.
Please and thank you.
I push that, Shifts currently useless for us without option to clock in and out on desktop.

Here in Spain is mandatory to have a log of the entry time and exit. The desktop option will allow us to be compliant because all the people are working with company laptops.

This will be helpful now that all of us are working from home and we use our laptop.
We use an older networked app for a Time Clock and wanted to move them into using Shifts.
Until I figured out you can't clock in and out from the desktop.
OH KAY! I did some thinking on this one and I see where you are coming from with the mobile only.
You do it so no one can RDP to their work machine and punch in.
Fair enough... IF! Location Restrictions are on!
If the company has no location restrictions then just let he app work on pc.
of a company enables location restrictions then disable the PC app.
our remote workers would be able to use this to clock in and out. It would be very handy.
They all have company laptops so tha would be super easy.
