SharePoint News connector problem
The SharePoint News Connector (sometimes) does not publish a post when a new SharePoint news is published. We have tried waiting for 24 hours without any post showing up. When we republish the news post, a post is created in the channel. Is there anything we can do to fix this behaviour?

I am also encountering the same issue. After a couple of news not posting, I checked the connector setting and the connector was gone. I reconfigured (added the connector again) from home and now have to enable edit or republish the news for it to post. Do i need to be on our companys computer/server to configure (add connector) or should it make no difference setting up from home?

This is still happening for us. Can we at least get an acknowledgement that this is a bug?

Same issue for me, the only way I can get it to work is to reconfigure the connector then republish the news.this is not acceptable behaviour

We also have this problem. News posts almost never appear in Teams. Once or twice they do, after a republish. Or when we create a news post, an old one pops up in Teams.

I have the same problem. Needed to create flow to publish news on teams. But it shows my account as a creator of a new post.

Can we get a fix for this please? It's not working, it's not even re-configurable. This is a pretty bad experience. Being able to use the SharePoint news editor to post rich news, and then NOT have it show up in Teams is a major dealbreaker for us.

I have the same problem, the connector works inconsistently. Sometimes the news post is instantly created in Teams, but sometimes you need to go and edit the post in order to make it appear in Teams.

I have the same problem and I will also add that when I go to Configure--> Manage the General channel connector for SharePointNews, nothing shows up under the Save | Remove | Cancel buttons, not even the mandatory Fields that it states should be marked.

Just started see this in our tenant over the last two weeks. 11 teams with connector on General channel and none of them are firing. In some instances the configured connector doesn't show in the list but does show in the "Apps" tab of channel management.
Confirmed as below - choosing edit on the home page of the team site then posts the news item
