SharePoint News connector problem
The SharePoint News Connector (sometimes) does not publish a post when a new SharePoint news is published. We have tried waiting for 24 hours without any post showing up. When we republish the news post, a post is created in the channel. Is there anything we can do to fix this behaviour?

Started having this issue on a recent Team site I was building for our COVID Providers and our COVID testing hotline sites. This is not the time to have something like this break down when we are relying heavily on technology. Please bump this to high priority for a resolution.

UserVoice is made to submit idea and feature, if you get a bug open a ticket for it

It has been more than 48 hours and no news post yet. I have tried editing and reposting, made no difference.

Hello,
I have heard of one or two instances using the news connector although it’s never happened personally to me. If it’s inconsistent it sounds like an issue or bug is causing it as the connector should be consistent when publishing the news.
I would either raise a ticket to support, or raise a bug on the Microsoft Uservoice here (https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public?category_id=205564) with prefix BUG: so they will look into it in time, or raise this at the next Teams AMA.
I want to give one more advise, if any one want to learn sharepoint Admin please go through this link: https://mindmajix.com/sharepoint-admin-trainingHope that answers your question!

we are having the same issue. I did report it through Teams when I removed the connector and then re-added it to see if it would make a difference. It did not change anything.
Teams version: 1.3.00.21759 64 bit
Brower being used: Have tried Edge and Chrome -

Same. Doesn't appear to work all the time.

Same here, not a lot of point of a news connector if it doesn't post news

Same issue and has been ongoing for months. We have tried variations of editing, copying, updating, posting - all with different degrees of success. We have learned we cannot depend on SharePoint News connector with our Teams channel. Any updates on this issue from Microsoft?

Same issue here. I have to edit the page after adding a new item for the connector to notice the new item. This usually causes the connector to do a double post, or post some of the older items again.

It is not possible to add Sharepoint News connector to Teams. Dialog window is empty. It is important feature for our users.

I need to configure the connector so it only pushes news to a specific channel if criteria A is met. E.g. Only push news to Channel A if the news post is tagged with Tag A, and only push news to Channel B if the news post is tagged with Tag B.
