Renamed channel

I renamed the channel, but under the FILES tab, the old name is still there.

Active Projects was originally named 2019 Projects.

    How can this (at the time of writing) only have 39 votes?! It's a pretty colossal flaw that SharePoint and Teams don't work together. If they can't fix what would seem to be a very basic problem, they should flag up in massive letters that as far as SharePoint's concerned, your channel name is set in stone and you can't ever, ever change it.

    This is actually INCREDIBLY important to us!
    We have recently changed some terminology to avoid confusion.
    This bug is WORSENING the confusion!

    More details in case anyone at Microsoft cares...

    We had a set of components that were originally called "Adapters". So we have channels for Adapter features and for Adapter Tech Dev and so forth. When we added some new components (initially called "Connectors") we realized that the terminology was confusing -- it was inverted! So we renamed Adapters to Connectors, and Connectors to Adapters. Now the terminology makes sense to everyone.

    However, Microsoft Teams is WRECKING some of our productivity!

    People (especially non-developers) are getting confused when they look at the heading in "Files" or "Wiki" and seeing "Adapter Tech" when they thought they were dealing with Connectors. And vice-versa.

    PLEASE!! FIX THIS BUG ASAP!

    I have found related problem on that, Please see as below.

    -Repro Steps

    1. Upload a file to "File" Tab in "Channel A"
    2. Rename "Channel A" to "Channel B"
    3. Search file (uploaded on section 1) by search function.
    4. Then Preview the files by search result of section 3. and select "Start Conversation"
    5. File has posted on "General" Channel (not posted on "Channel B" )

    It seems that a Channel information kept by files on file tab did not be updated by Channel rename.
    And furthermore, If old channel information is not show currently, A file will be posted on "General" Channel.
