Create Planner tabs within Private Channels
We have just started using Private Channels, which is great as our team has sub teams within it and this way we can have private discussions, without creating multiple teams.
What we'd also like to do is create Planner Plans within the Private Channels that are only accessible to those within the Private Channel. Is this on the roadmap?
We need Planner in Private Channels !!! Most important and urgent App to add to private channels
Please, add Planner app to Microsoft Teams Private Channels too.
Please create Panner for private channels, this would help us a lot in our daily business
Spent 2 hr trying to find planner. Finally read this.

We have to use other software than the office 365 such as Trello or Monday.com.
This is because we're in a huge organization and multiple teams per projekt or organization unit is not allowed. So task management must be dealt with in Excell or in other softwares.
This is the biggest problem with Teams.
Pleas make private Chanels have same functionality as public.
Could the user community get a status on where this suggestion lies currently within the MS stream of changes please?
Without this functionality we are forced to create a separate Team which drives Teams sprawl.

One of the biggest value propositions of Teams is the planner application please add this functionality.

This is a "must have" use case for us. We have private channels between various team members who are focused on a specific project or task. We need to have a Planner Kanban board available for just these team members to coordinate efforts and track task status. Confused as to how this capability was overlooked as it is a common use case for others as well. I can do this in other products- why not MS Teams?
I would also like to express that this would make a lot of sense to have as a feature for a private channel. Thank you!

The temporary workaround affects the overall membership in the Teams when attempting to edit the membership at Planner as AAD syncs the change. Please beware if using this temporary work around

Here's a temporary work around:
Go to your Office 365 Site
Create a Planner
Copy the URL
Go to your Teams private Channel
Add a tab and paste the URL as a Website
I need to run a confidential project and desperately need a ToDo or Planner connector. Please make it available for Private channels. Thanks

Best practice in Teams according to Microsoft Documentation? Limit the number of Teams you create in your organization to keep everything "tidy". We want to create private channels within the 40 person PMO/Professional team in order to manage our hundreds of projects - we don't want to create a team for each project. Each project has a subset of members working on each one and we'd like for our teams to only see those projects they are members of - thus private channels... only to realize that private channels are a second class citizen to public channels - can't add Planners, can't integrate 3rd party apps (Wrike for example)... Not a very good implementation. Another gripe - Microsoft says use good nomenclature to distinguish between teams and channels but we are imposed a 50 character limit on channel names.

For our use case, we have a team with external guests. Our private channel is meant to be for internal employees and we want Planner for internal use and visibility only.
I agree that we need planner functionality in private channels as well
It is very urgent to have planner in private channels.
This is something that needs to be adressed quickly. My organization needs to use planner i private channels..
This is such an oversight, we need the ability to add planner to private channels
