In skype for Business (SfB) we were able to use the Global Adress List (GAL) to provide company wide contacts for all our employees. In teams each employee has to import the list by himself. So if we add or change contacts each employee has to do update the contacts by himself again
Yes there needs to be a way to (1) have a Global Contact list, and (2) have a way to import or preferably synch (using Zapier?) a CRM with the Teams Global Contact List so that when using Business Voice you can see which contacts are calling/have called.
+100 on this. It seems like such basic functionally to tie into Exchange or the MS Graph to be able to quickly access your co-workers in the contact list.

I can't understand why such a basic feature is missing. We are currently rolling out Teams and i am getting a shitstorm, why there is no way to list all company contacts. Everybody is used to have his GAL

Yes! I am amazed that more people are not complaining about this. In Skype we have a distribution list for each office location (6-40 people per location) so everyone is used to expanding the distribution group in Skype for that location and selecting the person they want to chat with. Right now thats not a possibility in Teams. Having the Global address list listed under "Contacts" would be a huge improvement.
