Allow upload of pre-recorded video
It would be great to upload a pre-recorded video such as a or town hall. This would allow producers to switch between the pre-recorded content and the live component.
It would also allow people to use Live Events for webinars with better production value as they could record the content beforehand and then be available to answer Q&A live.
This ask is under review by the team, taking into account your votes and comments.

Agree with all the comments below. Sharing video content from my desktop works...but with no sound. This is a fundamental problem for running a live event. All the workarounds are really clunky and don't work for a distributed workforce in many locations as we are seeing now with Covid-19. Please fix this very quickly!

It could be really great to have a chance to include system audio like in normal MS Teams meeting. It is important especially during this coronavirus crisis. I work in big company and we are not able to organize town hall meeting in Teams because classic meeting is limited (connected users) and in live event is not possible to share sound from video etc.
I agree - this is critical to be able to abide by CDC recc's and convey information clearly to audiences. Please add this option soon!
Yes please Microsoft, asap now we have to work remotely due to Covid-19.
Hi Good Morning
Based on the current situation with the Coronavirus and the need to work via Home Office, it became critial the need to use Streams tools for sharing video with audio.
When is Teams Live Events going to enable the option to include the Audio from System?

the nature of webinars and live events is that you mix live and pre-recorded, I hope you prioritize this feature,
Today we have a complex work around to achieve what could be a press of a button in live events
