Teams for MacOS would randomly freeze.
I can switch to it, but no windows with chats visible.
I have to force quite it and then re-open it to use it.
Latest MacOS 10.14.5 (18F132)

Everything on my mac slows down or freezes when in a Teams call. Teams helper uses about 150% cpu!

+1 on this, we're seeing the same... as soon as we disconnect the Logitech camera, everything runs as expected.
Having the same issues with our system. Using a Logitech conference system.
Same issue with Catalina in combination with Logitech Connect. I takes around 2 min. after the Teams UI is responding again. Tested with Polycom Webcam -> no problems. Really strange and annoying ...
We face exactly the same behaviour as the Anonymus User commented:
Connectinc a Conference speakerphone from Logitech and UI becomes completely unresponsive. After like ~ a minute Teams app resumes to work and tries to do all actions from clicks during the freeze.
Connected to USB2, macOS ver 10.15.2 , Teams ver 1.3. Update and cach error did not help.
In the System Error logs this error appears 2000 times
"error 16:21:45.901011+0100 Microsoft Teams Helper IOConnectCallMethod(kIOHIDLibUserClientDeviceIsValid):e00002c2" as soon as you unplug the conference system.
My Teams app freezes for ~ a minute every time I'm connecting a conference speakerphone from Logitech: UI becomes completely unresponsive. After like ~ a minute Teams app resumes to work and tries to do all actions from clicks during the freeze.
My Mac is 2018 MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2019, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports), macOS ver 10.15.2 (19C57), Teams ver 1.2.00.34155. It was last updated on 12/12/19.
