Add live voting and polling to Teams Live Events
With other platforms, you can ask participants to vote and or answer polling questions during the meeting/event. I would like to see functionality such as that available in Teams Live Events (and actually in regular meetings too).
Thanks for your comments and votes. The team is working on this and we will update as soon as there are more details to share.
Any update on this ? it was 6 months ago since this update. what is happening ?
Will this be available soon?

Is this feature available yet for MS Teams LIVE?
Yup. Another vote from me.

Yes, would like to have the Live Voting and Polling feature as part of Live Events. Even though we can use MS Forms, why should we do it outside of Live Events? And if we do it outside of Live Events using MS Forms, how do we capture the participant details there? Needs to be integrated. Need something within Live Events just like Webex.

Like Ian said: "A simple yes/no button would be amazing."
After, this feature can be upgrading with the capability to namage who can and who can't vote.
For non-profit organisation, we need to conduct Annual General Meeting under Law. Each AGM are different. Some are open and every member can vote, other have specifc rules.
And finnaly, the possibility to export the result of each vote wil be great.
You can create a Form poll ahead of time and then post the link in the Q&A - or as a I saw during a recent MS Live Event - put a QR code on a slide and present that and the link during your Live Event
Did it again - used @Forms in chat in a 'test' meeting this morning, clicked on the Forms icon popup and chose polls and got to generate a quick poll (wrote up a title + a couple of options to choose from) which appeared in/was generated 'live' in the chat window. Tried to create another poll 5 mins later and it failed (again! Same 'don't have permissions to use forms' error message) Anyone got any ideas how/why this happens?

Please add this! We need it to perform our annual membermeetings. It was a bummer to buy Zoom license just to get poll working, when we already have Teams activated.
I was just running a meeting (only me for testing) - managed to successfully create and post a 'live poll' within the meeting (using the @forms which triggered an MS Forms window) and entered a 'vote' to my posted poll. Now trying to add a second poll, and it's saying I don't have permissions. Any ideas anyone?
This would be a great value add for Live Events, especially as a part of the move away from webex
I am adding my support to all the comments. Adding polling would be awesome.
@Alex , please may i know when we can have this Vote function? thank you

Any news on this? We're desperately looking for such a function for our next event in less than 30 days. . .
Any update on live voting and polling using MS Team?

Plus 1 - We have this requirement or we can't use the platform. Why isn't this a higher priority?
For NASBA required Continuing Professional Education for Certified Public Accountants there are requirements that we need to gather for training online to get appropriate credit and verification. Ideally we would get the following:
- Title of training
- Date and time of training
- Duration of the training
- Attendees name (first and last)
- Attendees email
- How long the attendee was in the webinar
- Each polling question and the attendees responses to the polling questions. The questions need to show on the report in the same order that they were given during the webinar. This has been the biggest issue with other webinar tools that I have noticed. Most do not have this detailed report when it comes to the polling questions.
Any update Microsoft? We are really missing this feature!
