Reply to Message
When you have longer conversations or real time chats it can get messy to understand which message you are replying to.
Whatsapp and Slack have Reply feature where you can select the message you are replying to.
Yes, please It would be lot helpful add this feature.

One of the most irritating user experiences while using MS teams as a key communication product in a team, is that one cannot reply to messages posted in the group/private chat.
Virtually any messenger/platform out there allows for replying to individual messages/threads, whereas MS teams does without it.
Please Dev Team, add this feature, as it's going to improve user interaction so much!

This would be a great feature on the desktop app for Teams!

This becomes increasingly necessary for group chats and replies would be nice to line up with the questions
So confusing that it was implemented on mobile platforms but still unavailable on desktop...
What about consistency between platforms?👏👏👏

I see the Reply option is available in the Teams App for Android, however is unavailable in the web based version and the Windows App.
I feel it qualifies as 'Must Have' category rather than the 'Nice to Have' category.
What number of Votes or Comments, does it take, to get the feature in 'Work in Progress' or 'Working On It' mode.

Its implemented in Android version. But its not in Windows
Agree ... Now my enterprise is exploring the others e.g. Slack to replace MS Teams. A lot of feedbacks to MS Teams, they are not responded by Microsoft quickly e.g. Not lightweight application in every OS, Reply to a message, ...
please add "Reply to message" - it will come handy within group conversation as well as personal. It will a value add to search feature
this would be a gret idea to have a reply feature

Doesn't help that the 'reply' link gets buried behind a scroll on a long conversation but the 'start new discussion' is prominently anchored to the bottom of the page. Perhaps the Reply button could be more prominent and anchored to the side of each comment.

If Microsoft wants more people to use Teams, this feature will definitely encourage people to like and use Teams.
