Support for mobile browsers
It makes no sense to me that teams cannot be accessed via the browser on iOS or Android.
I have classes using shared iPads and I can't have them logging into the Teams app.
The ability to use Chome/ Safari/ Firefox on a mobile device would be extremely useful.
It is actually crazy it's not an option

All features across all M365 apps should be available via a browser. It really isn't acceptable to force the use of specific clients or have features that only work on specific Windows versions
...and the 'prevent cross-site tracking' workaround for Safari doesn't;t seem to work anymore with the improved privacy features of iOS15
I have government clients that send Teams meetings and the only way to access the teams call is to "Open in Browser". This means when I am on the go and I need to take these team calls without a laptop, I cannot access the meeting because the phone does not give an option to open in browser. Instead it will pull up the app and not connect to the call. THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE! "Open in Browser" should be an option if you open the teams meeting using the URL in chrome on a cell phone!!
Please enable it, it’s irritating that teams doesn't work on browser
Try utilizing Bookings + Teams with customers and they quickly decide they don't want to install the App and bail on appointments... This would help....

Thanks to one of the users here .. i too uninstalled teams and used it on my browser in desktop view and voila. The only disadvantage is that you don't get notifications like the app. Please provide this feature in the app asap

I was able to get this to work on a tablet in chrome. I forced it to utilize the desktop site. Then when the page asked if I wanted to download the app, I said continue in this browser.

FYI - Not sure when this became possible but Teams desktop-mode. web app works in Safari on iPad. However, I did have to disable the cross-site tracking prevention to make it work. 😕 not ideal.

Still not working please impement!
Microsoft should look keeping at-least a lite version of mobile web browser teams to allow guest users to join meeting invite, while it's ok to keep mobile app for full teams functionality. This would elevate user experience and give flexibility to users
Crazy how this is not an option yet! How is Microsoft teams so far behind?

It's possible to use Outlook and OneDrive via the mobile web browser, you can even add these to the home screen and use them like an app. It makes no sense why this is not possible with Teams, although it is possible on a desktop web browser.
I won't use the mobile teams app because my company has a policy to control my private phone, being able to wipe my personal data. So I'd like to have an alternative to at least being able to chat and call colleagues while I'm not at my PC
My company has applied a security policy that prevents me from using any 365 apps on my personal device. Since Teams does not work with any IOS browser I have no ability to use Teams on my iPhone. This is a problem as I participate in many meetings while I am traveling. Please add to the backlog and prioritize.

I just opened a Live Event in Chrome on my Galaxy S20+ by choosing the "Use desktop site" option. I purposely uninstalled the Teams app beforehand to try this out.
Please add support for mobile browsers. This is an essential feature for all communication tools.
Please add support for mobile browsers.
This is why we use Zoom and not teams.
Inviting external people for interviews doesn't work with teams, great with zoom.
Teams support on mobile browser would be great

Not having web support on a mobile device excludes a lot of people from being able to attend live event. Many people don't have PCs or laptops or the capacity to download additional apps, so browser support really should be supported on a mobile device
The lack of browser option on mobile devices makes the whole live event thing pretty useless for us. A majority of our participants access it by phone. This needs to be remedied. We paid for the "join by phone" option as a work-around but that doesn't give us visuals.
When will this be available ?
Ok so is this fixed or no?
