Blank screen after opening app
Post the Teams logo page when the app is opened and before the channels/chat homescreen there is a blank screen moment. This is especially obvious on dark mode since the white screen of the logo is followed by a black screen followed by the app opening. Could we leave the logo page on longer and directly jump into the app instead of the blank screen please?

I feel for you, I'm in the same situation. It was working fine until one day it started showing broken images and after restart, it was broken. I once fixed it but has failed to login ever since and I'm stuck with the web browser version. I wonder what will happen when that one fails too, since my whole company uses Teams as the official channel to communicate.

This problem keeps happening to me on MacOS. I fixed it the first time by moving the application to the Trash and then deleting ~/Library/ApplicationSupport/Microsoft/Teams folder, and the com.microsoft.teams.plist file from ~/Library/Preferences/ as well. Then reinstalling the app, two hours later, the problem is coming back again. This is very annoying, and I don't get any useful error message. The Microsoft forums are riddled with other users complaining about this issue, but on a PC running Windows and most of the fixes don't apply here. I tried reviewing the Teams client logs and they are not that helpful either.
