Missed calls in Microsoft Teams should trigger email to Outlook
I have checked with Microsoft Premier Support and they have confirmed that users will only get notification for missed calls in the Teams app. Email notification is only for the missed messages in Teams, and this is the expected behavior.
But I found it strange why only calls are being excluded from email notification? Isn’t calls more important than message as people can always send email as alternative to chat?
Furthermore, Team’s setting is called “Missed activity emails”, which the missed calls fall under, this is very confusing to users.
Please include missed calls in email notification!

This is a major complaint for our organization. As a business that prides itself on responsiveness, it is a huge pain point to have to go into an app to find a missed call. Ideally everyone would have the mobile app active on their mobile device / desktop, but that just isn't reality. The fact that we can get an email for every missed activity except this feels like a huge design flaw on Microsoft's part. The fact that I can get a missed IM notification email but not a missed call notification seems silly. I would like to know if this is even a remote consideration for Microsoft. As much as I love MS Teams, if this is not being considered, or if there is not a third-party workaround, we may need to move to an alternative calling solution.

Agree with all the comments below, particularly relating to the fact that it was available in S4B.
This would also help resolve the issue of missed calls for Delegates/Assistants and the Assistant not knowing who the call was intended for as that information is not passed through to the missed calls area.
99% of the time if someone is set as a Delegate within Teams they will also have access rights to their bosses mailbox and so would see the missed call notification email and would then know who the call was for (that combined with the fact that they haven't received a missed call notification email...)

Is this on Microsoft's radar at all? Adding this to the notification settings would be ideal for our users.

I would also add that the red bubble should show on "Calls" rather than "Activity"

Not sure why Microsoft has not include this very important features "Missed call email notification" for TeamsOnlyMode users. Please enable this feature for TeamsOnlyMode users as it's demand from our customer.

We have call groups setup, Missed call notification come through on all our sales staff's Teams clients. They have no way of knowing who has responded to calls as the missed notifications don't show or link up to one another on their Teams clients. Skype For Business used to email their shared mailbox missed call notifications. They now manually have to keep a spreadsheet to know who has responded to clients calls.

I agree, this is a painful missing feature. I have missed a number of calls, as you need to regularly check your activity feed for missed call alerts. Its seems a no brainer for the feature set.

Yep, I'm adding vote in for this one as well. Does not make sense not to have this.

Throwing my vote into this too. I encourage people to use the Call History and Activity Feed within Teams, to see missed calls. But if you've genuinely missed the activity notification, it would be good to see it in email too.
Given that other missed activity can be sent to email. -
