I need a way to have the shared screen I'm viewing not interfere with my chatting with other people. Even chatting with the group that the shared screen is with would be easier if it wasn't just a column next to the screen share. just allow for multiple windows please.
Why not let the user decide whether he wants to activate the multi-window option or not? a simple switch in the settings would solve the problem and everyone would be satisfied?
We in the company now have the problem that we have different designs, single and multi window clients, although the same team version number is used ?! reinstallation and deletion of all local and roaming team data did not create a solution. please fixed this problem! In the new client is no switch like "Turn on new meeting experience". Why? Thank you very much!
Very important feature IMHO. Close to https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/34366897-seperate-the-shared-screen-and-speaker-viewer

I agree with this suggestion completely. Already this is cumbersome because Teams limits you to only one window and with being able to aggregate multiple applications within Teams (SharePoint, Word, Excel, OneNote, etc...) without the ability to easily switch between "windows", because there is only one, is very frustrating and time-wasting. Please give us the ability to right-click Open New Window for tabs/chats/etc. Thank you.
They are apparently working on it. Your comment and votes may be more visible here: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16926739-multi-window-for-chats-and-more
