Real-time translation feature for Teams meeting
It would be great that Teams could implement a real-time translation for conversations in a meeting and captioning feature like the Presentation Translator add-in for PowerPoint. This feature would be useful to have a Teams meeting with users in other countries.

In my company the fact that the translation is not automatic in Teams conversation is a real obstacle to the adoption especially as it is surprising because microsoft translator can already do so

Totally agree - we have meetings with Spanish and English participants and would appreciate this for both languages - at the same time

Hi,
Just checking if there's any progress with this one? e.g. In preview mode? If in case, how can we participate on testing? We have an on-going weekly catch-up with our colleagues from Australia to Brazil, and we are highly desperate for this solution.

in Yammer, a translations function is allready implemented - manual translation. Please use the same

I completely support this idea. With Lync there was a very useful plugin available, after the "upgrade" to Skype the functionality was lost.

I'd also like to be able to see the translation version of my own text (if I choose to) to ensure that what I have said has been translated correctly / makes sense for the reader.

Yes totally agreed of Gabriel. It will be best that the auto translator can be in place to resolve the language barrial and smoothen the communication.
