Propper handling of transparent images in chat
We are collaborating and sharing a bunch of white icons with transparent backgrounds. With how Teams handles transparent images, these turn into big white boxes and the file has to be downloaded and opened in a separate application just to see what the images are. Even clicking on each image to preview just shows a bigger white box.
In the future, could transparency be handled differently in Teams? Preferably by allowing the transparent parts of the image to act transparent.
Attached is an image of what our white icons look like in chat.

With the advent of Dark Mode it would be very nice to have true transparency for PNGs in chat and channel conversations.
@daniel, Yes any transparent pixel and it simply won't paste inline in the chat or channel conversation.

Hey - I have a slightly different challenge with pngs having transparent parts. I just cant add them inline in the chat, eg when copying them from my screenshot tool like Snagit. Does anybody experience similar issues? As soon as I remove all transparent parts, I can add it inline again..
