Take over locals from windows - or at least allow them to be set
Allow me to use my language, 24 h clock and similar
Plus it could proof read my chats accordingly
Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to share that Chat and Calendar honor the date and time format used by your operating system. To learn more, please visit https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/change-settings-in-teams-b506e8f1-1a96-4cf1-8c6b-b6ed4f424bc7.

Chat/Channel Conversations seem to use the 12 hour clock (1:34 PM) even if the system/workstation clock is set to use 24 hour clock (13:34). Syncing the time stamp to use the preferred time format (either from the OS or from an application option) would help prevent confusion in some circumstances.
24 hour time option for English South Africa please - or just use the OS settings?

Indeed, seperating the UI language from the locale (or even better, sticking to the settings of the desktop) should be the default. Now if I want EU date/time style, I have to change the interface language to Dutch (which is silly in my English MS Windows and I am not accustomed to Dutch applications).

Need to have 24 hour format when organizing meeting in teams.
Changing the calendar format for meetings to 24 hour, the rest of the world doesnt use am/pm they use 24 hours.
Support for changing to local time and calendar standards (24hr time, ddMMyyy etc) but still keeping teams in English or whatever language one would want

I'm sick and tired of not being able to set my MS Teams Meetings scheduler to show time in the 24h clock system.
Yes, I have my OS set-up for the Danish standards of Date & Time, so MS Teams should display this as well.
It doesn't though, and it would be handy if either the "copy OS settings" worked or there was a settings option in Teams itself.

If I am in France, I would like to have the interface in English, but the number/hour/currency formatting in French.
it should be able to set time format to 24h in shifts.
and dateformat should be in format year-month-day.
and implement weeknr. too.

User settings states: "App language determines the date and time format.". So, I choose Swedish as my app language, but I still get the 12h clock in the calendar. We don't use that over here. We use the 24h clock.

Date and time from chats are not shown in the Windows regational settings. For me it results in month/day and am/pm results, whil ein the Netherlands the regular convention is to use day/month 24h notation.
Even if you're sticking with this "App language determines the date and time format." idea (which isn't the best way to handle this, if you ask me) please at least add an English (US 24 hour) option for those of us who prefer this.
Microsoft's own UI guidelines for handling date and time say that applications should "at the very least" respect the user's choice of time and date format, as set in the OS.
My desktop is set to use 24-hour time so I see "16:40" instead of "4:40 PM". Teams should reflect this behavior or at least allow a way to set it as such.
This should respect the OS locale at the very minimum, and ideally should be configurable globally, per channel and per user.
This should be settable as a default for the app as a whole, and ideally also on each channel.

I'm located in a country where the standard time is displayed using 24 hr. However in the meetings tab, I don't see this. Instead I see meeting time displayed in AM or PM time (i.e. 12hr).
This should most likely follow the culture preference of the current user?
